I'm getting tired of Joe being a judge on a cooking show when he has no formal training as a chef. He co-owns 30+ restaurants. "Congrats." I own my car. I don't pretend to know how to build one. He's often down right cruel, and that's saying something given his co-host is Gordon Ramsay.
As for this particular episode, it was heartbreaking seeing every contestant's loved ones there except for Micah's. I respect Ramsay for trying to cheer him up. But if they couldn't get a member from every family there, they shouldn't have had anyone there. The competition is stressful enough without that type of distraction. This is normally an entertaining show, but this episode wasn't fun at all.
