The robot is called DT-87, a clear reference to the original DuckTales (1987) which premiered in 1987.
This is the first time the Beagle Boys work together with both Flintheart Glomgold and Magica De Spell in this series. In the original DuckTales (1987), they often worked for both of them.
This title was also used with an alternate theme song posted on Youtube by Disney's Disney Channel account, where Glomgold sings his own version of the Opening Theme song which he called GlomTales as part of the Theme Song Takeover (involving a character singing their own version of the theme song), and the second one posted for DuckTales (2017), with the first focusing on Launchpad. In addition the theme song from that takeover was used for the opening of this episode with the only difference is that it ends with with the title presented as "GlomTales" instead of Glomgold being arrested for copyright infringement.
Promos for this episode showed Magica with green feathers like in the intro and the season 1 finale, but they were eventually edited to white like in the original series to reflect the fact that she's now less powerful. According to writer Francisco Angones on Twitter when the episode was sent to their animation studios overseas, they accidentally sent the wrong character model for Magica and so when the promo trailer was made it was intended to be mixed in with the promo footage from A Nightmare on Killmotor Hill! (2019) to help hide this fact.
DT-87 from Day of the Only Child! (2018) returns in this episode to prevent Louie who's still punished after what he did in the previous episode from leaving McDuck Manor. This similar to what Duckworth did in the first episode Treasure of the Golden Suns: Don't Give Up the Ship (1987) of the original series after the Triplets started living at McDuck Manor for the first time, which he did again in the episode Send in the Clones (1987) when all 3 of the Triplets (who were really the Beagle Boys turned into duplicates by Magica having been causing trouble around McDuck Manor) were punished in the same way.
