O'Malley has ventured to do what every producer, director, writer is afraid of; unabashedly showing what men do, say, and think. The politically correct western culture wants men to open up more, be themselves, but the moment they do, the PC police crack the whip. These men going to war in the worst parts of the world against the worst people need to be the most manly, and A Grunt's Life shows it on full display, and although the pacing doesn't lend itself well to a movie format, it was one of the most refreshing breaths of air I've taken. I see the grunts, and they're just like me. They're just like you too...
