A complete dumb story with old hero-villain up and down screenplay. First half an hour was pakka waste with unwanted intro and songs and after that the story begins with same old pattern without any logics. Skip it and save your time!

So the story started as a NASA scientist who is about to bring life in Mars planet which isn't suitable for sustaining life. All sounded right and interesting in the start as the viewers were expecting the protagonist to go to Mars and make it a planet which sustains life. But instead there comes the heroine scene and the Boring love tract. At least they had a chance to make the movie better after those scenes but instead the movie went to farmers sentiment which has already been used since past few years or something. Boring and that's it

We already saw in sharukhan SWADES and Vijay in KATHTHI and Mahesh babu MAHARSHI and so many so many Farmers movie. Yes this movie is the 2021 1st biggest cringe

Very good movie. Im happy the movie presented good ideologys on how farmers should advance themselves into a corporate entity.
The cons is that many indians are commenting negatively on this movie instead of taking a stand for indian farmers and their development.
Well there might be hundreds of movie regarding farming and farmers. As of my view, even my university projects need more than hundreds of sample to achieve my objective and my questions is why not this movie act as one of the Sample to achieve the ultimate goal.

So I Just Finished My First Crappy Movie of 2021. this Movie has One of The Unique Story Ever, A Well Educated Hero Trying To Save Farmers and Fighting Against Corporate Villains Single Handley. Yes In Telugu and Tamil we have Seen This story at least 100 times. it will still work if they made it well. but here Everything was Just Terrible from Start to Finish. Acting of The all cast Including Jayam Ravi, Ronit Roy, Radha Ravi etc was Just Crap. Also, Songs and Bgm of Imman was Annoying. I don't know why Nidhi Agarwal in This Movie, she was there I know..that's it.
Don't ever Go near This Movie if you don't wanna witness a Cringe Fest.

Never thought this film would disappoint me this much. Never seen so much artificial scenes like this. A total non attractive drama attempt from the team. Music not worked out. Screenplay was so illogical. Acting was not good by any one. Total waste of 2 hours. Agriculture is a good concept. But taking that with blind story and screenplay was not a good try. A complete pissoff with this. Am so tired with the screenplay. If you have time to waste then it will work out.

If you throw this in a garbage, the garbage will in turn throw it outside. That's how $hi++Y this movie is. The directors IQ is way below what a normal human being will have. Crappiest story and direction ever. Watching this movie is the most pathetic way for Tamil audience to start 2021.

Fam, this is a MUST WATCH. Hear me out. It's a must watch, because it's SO BAD! And I'm only 5 mins in. Out of which, the intro rolls for 4 mins. So, I've pretty much only watched 1 min of the movie, and it's SO BAD that it's SO GOOD!
(I read folks couldn't tolerate it more than 20 mins, it took you 20 mins to come to that conclusion?)
That said, watch it FOR SURE but don't watch it alone, watch it with people whom you'd laugh out loud with. You won't enjoy what you're watching, but you'll enjoy the collective experience of sharing thoughts and comments on how bad the movie is, shared laughter, some good food, and maybe you'll watch another bad movie, maybe AAA, right after to continue laughing.
So....yeah, totally watch it. Hell, even watch it alone if you have to...because...I'm gonna put myself through that torture...because...*smh*. So give ya boi some company.

I really liked this movie i would like to thank you boomi director and hero jayamravi. This film shows actual current situation and whatever film will come here after but this is the film of the year. Please all watch this movie. I want our world should change like this movie and we have to start our icon TAMILAN and we have responsible to product our farmers and farming.

The social message of the movie is fantastic and every citizen of India should watch and understand how the corporate is looting India as well as other developing countries. I won't say the movie is too good. But for the social message and commitment kudos to the team. One time watch. I don't know how this movie is rated under 5. Maybe of corporate agenda. Everyone should watch at least for the social message it is giving. This is an eye opener movie apart from the romantic part and some exaggerated scenes.

I never wrote reviews,but this film is horrible,now a days directors are choosing themes just to target max no of people in society....like corporate Vs farmers , doctors Vs patients....he was showing farmers are not getting water Bcoz of car industries,what an useless logic n jayam ravi's over acting is horrible...I wish he vl sell all his cars n use bullock cart so that farmers vl get benefit

Bhoomi is Jayam Ravi's 25th film, and it makes you think he is the nicest man in Kollywood. He just can't seem to say no to a script! On the one hand, you see why he took on this project. The writer-director, Lakshman, has given him two hits: Romeo Juliet and Bogan. But on the other hand, you have to wonder if that's enough. This is a painfully literal film. Jayam Ravi's character, here, is an agriculturist: his name, therefore, is Bhoominathan. Had Lakshman made Soorarai Pottru, he'd have named the Suriya character... Akasanathan. You can keep extending this concept unto infinity. You can make a movie about the plight of the man with the cart who irons your clothes. He's down in the dumps because evil corporate dry cleaners have taken away all his business - or at least, the work-from-home scenario has made shirts and trousers redundant. The hero swoops in to save the day. His name? Istrinathan.
