Peter (Michael Callan) is debating an ad campaign at work with his office rival Wally Frick (Jack Riley, "The Bob Newhart Show", Mel Brooks films)- "a gifted tattle tale and a dangerous backstabber". Greta's (Patricia Harty) date with her boyfriend Bernie Kramer (Stuart Margolin, "The Rockford Files") is interrupted by Peter whom she introduces as her brother. Peter talks Greta into joining him for the weekend at his boss Mr. Brahms' (Jack Collins) since Wally will be there. Wally and his wife Vera (Susan Silo) rehearse details about Mr. Brahms and his wife (Joan Tompkins) to impress during the weekend. They dominate Mr. Brahms' attention. Peter convinces Greta that she must break another date with Bernie to stay another night and she reluctantly complies. The normally sweet Bernie has had enough and goes to the Brahms to find out what is going on. Greta tells him that the place is actually a sanitarium that Peter is committed to. The rest of the guests here noises in the bushes and think Bernie is a burglar, which Peter tries to play to his advantage.
