Adrian has always been so proud of his job, so it comes as a big shock when he loses his job, it's a big blow for the family. Each member of the family has something to confess, Joey has to shoulder all the burden.
Joey seems to be the man to sort everyone out, here it's his disastrous dad, who's not paid his gambling debts, and everyone else.
It's been a very good first series, this is a fine closing episode, it really does reflect what life was like for many at the time, life was tough. 7/10
