They are not only on the alert to prevent crime and apprehend criminals, but are constantly at work in protecting the life and property of all citizens. On October nineteenth, an incident took place at a local motel which was destined to trigger the Highway Patrol into a situation far more important than the incident itself. What occurred threatened to have a far-reaching effect on an entire community.
