This is one of the best written and acted Magnum episodes to date. The story is unique and very engaging as the Magnum team investigates the possibility that a college professor and author murdered two co-eds for financial and professional gain. The story unfolds in a very intriguing manner and the entire regular cast performs extremely well, particularly Jay Hernandez (who really captures the multi-faceted aspects of the Magnum character here), the always good Amy Hill (whose character, Kumu, allows herself to be used as a decoy by the HPD), and Tim Kang (as Katusmoto, revealing to the audience only a sad aspect of his personal life).
Even the guest stars (Brooke Lyons, William Forsythe, Jesse Bradford, and Taylor Wily) give interesting and professional performances. All in all, extremely well-written, acted, and filmed. Holds your interest throughout.
