Sandra's Maid Of Honor?
ShowReviews1232 November 2019
This week's episode of Superstore proved how funny the show can be when dealing with Dina and her disliking of Sandra's future wedding!

On this episode, Sandra thinks that Dina will be throwing her a engagement party, when that's the LAST thing Dina wants to do. However, Jonah wants to throw her a party and this causes Dina to have some eagle eyes on Jonah and things quickly turn wild.

Another plot-line this episode, is Mateo's immigration lawyer coming to the story for evidence on his case, but nobody can really come up with a strong argument on why he should stay, so the employees have to really pull out the big guns. There's a very funny mini montage in this episode of employees testifying, that really makes the episode the Superstore we love.

A few of the best scenes in this episode were when Jerry and Garrett share a nice bonding time over their "male friendship" as well as Jonah's determination to throw Sandra a bachlorette party and Glenn and Marcus's competition over a premium locker!

Overall I'd rate this episode: 7.9/10.

this episode is hilarious

Superstore is back for another episode following the story of Mateo potentially being deported, this is a classic superstore episode with the same funny jokes. There was a review (it has been deleted) for this episode below claiming that Mateo deserves everything because he's illegal, so this episode isn't funny to him... Do you not remember the part about Mateo having no idea that he was undocumented? This episode isn't pushing an agenda, it just has a realistic storyline. And even if your a stone cold racist, Marcus always makes an episode worth it anyway

Forgot to be funny...

A few good laughs with lots and lots of failed attempts at humor. Heavy subject matter. Only someone without empathy would find this episode hilarious. Because it wasn't. I do give the writers credit for attempting to inject humor into these darker subjects, but don't believe they hit the mark. Laughter makes a sitcom a sitcom ... and this episode provoked little of that.

No respect for Myrtle!
Marynewcomb201314 June 2022
The woman playing Myrtle passes away & this episode is solely based on the worst character in the show!! All they do is flash a picture with in memory of the lady that played Myrtle, & it was after the credits rolled!! That's very disrespectful!!

This episode is yet another perfect example of this show

Not very funny. Handful of funny lines. More annoying than funny.

Dina, Sandra and Amy especially annoying this episode.

Funniest lines "My doctor says I'm down to my last 100 knee bends." -Glenn

"I also give zero F's. its not unique to Mateo" -Older guy with beard. No clue what his name is.

Ferrera is so bad. Have I mentioned that before?

Always like Jerry Minor...and Michael Bunin when he shows up

It is funny how I guess the lead actor Ben Feldman is so vanilla pudding. Not terrible enough to comment on. Not funny enough to ever say, Jonah had the funniest line.

We need to talk about Dina
safenoe29 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I hate to say it but in Testimonials, the second episode of season five, Dina is completely a b@d@ss in an incredibly bad way that doesn't lean to any sympathy or empathy towards her. The way she tossed the cake from Sandra's hand was brutal and just lacked any sympathy at all. Which writer is in charge of shaping Dina's character? Anyway, nevertheless, it was good to see Mateo at the end, as he's been released by ICE temporarily so we'll see if he returns in whatever status he's allowed to be on.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing the rest of season five and of course season six to wrap up Superstore.
