I really enjoyed watching this short film. It had amazing sound quality and a well-thought out progression. The photography is on point and there's a lot of fine details to look at.
The whole short film has a very deep meaning behind it. However, there is much room for interpretation, so this is very interesting.
With Razoes, director Alice Faria shows that she can carefully craft an intriguing story with brilliant direction. The directing is very well done and there is a lot of creativity put into the quick story line.
The original language is in Portuguese, but it is interesting how the movie speaks without words. There is no need for learning Portuguese in order to understand this film. The focus is pointed more towards the camera movements and sounds the audience hears. This is especially amazing since there was 0 budget for the film and it was created solely by a young film student.
Overall this is a great film and is well-deserved to earn so many awards.
