I fail to see the hype and appeal behind this show. Wow, a "celebrity" we haven't heard from in 10 years is singing! But if they sing badly they take their ridiculous costume off! There's no premise, no stakes, and no reason to watch.

The performance of 'Bad Guy' done by The Lion was originally a cover done by the Halocene band, a small STRUGGLING band. While usually I wouldn't care about a cover being done the band placed riffs from their own original song. With Youtubers not getting paid as much as they use to before I seriously think this was a low blow, they are trying to make a name for themselves but end up having their content used without consent.
Highly recommend people to head to the Halocene youtube channel and check out their music.

They used original music from Holocene without permission. This is plagiarism. Check out this comparison. Such theft is absolutely unacceptable, don't give this show your money nor your time before they compensate Holocene for this.

I wish I could find the words to describe how exactly horrible "The Masked Singer" is but due to being unable too I will describe. I cannot fathom that a show exists like this one. In fact everytime I see the ad for the new series, it makes me have to leave the room from almost projectile vomiting my meals from the past week at the idea that they are not only creating another series but that they let people watch rubbish like this. I would pay for this show to be taken off television.. no in fact I would sacrifice a limb for it to be taken off my tv. I send a plea or in that case a restraining order against this show to come near my eyeballs or myself at any time of the day. May "The Masked Singer" burn in the flames of eternal hell.

Apparently 1 in 20 or 25 Australians are tuning in to this garbage to watch a bunch of has-beens, never-were's, and C- lister celebrities sing songs in outlandish costumes and drop hints on who they might be. Apparently if they lose some kind of sing-off then they're unmasked to thunderous fake applause, overly dramatic surprised faces and the cliched "Oh my gawd" to just about everything that happens.
This is free-to-air tv at it's lowest and of course along with staged reality, cooking and home renovation shows this only appeals to the lowest common denominator, which sadly seems to be well over half the country. We're living in a golden age of mediocrity and lowered expectations and it's only going to get worse. I'd rather see 2 seagulls fighting over a dead crab than watch this poor excuse for entertainment.

What a complete piece of garbage! I can still smell the putrid stink from this rotten carcass of programming someone without any credibility has defined as entertainment. This show features four absolute has-been/never-been no talent hacks "judging" masked has-been/never-been "celebrity" "singers".
In the 1970's and even 80s Australian TV was cutting edge, experimental and genuinely entertaining. Now it's just absolute garbage devised by people that wouldn't get a job in the seventies because the people back then actually had TALENT. The creme of talent used to rise to the top. Now the "talent" are manufactured "celebrities" recruited from a pool of "look at me! look at me!" no talents with the right connections- you know what I mean - wink wink - sshhh.
RIP Australian free to air TV.

The masked singer Australia is dope, funny and interesting to say the least, It's the perfect mix of game show and reality TV the host is super charismatic and the Judges Lindsay, Jackie, Danii and Dave are the heart, soul, and face of this show and all the contestants are truly amazing I hope they all win something just for being in this amazing show.

I love this show, it's completely whacky and ridiculous but it's so addicting to tune in. Dani and Jackie O are probably the only appropriate guessing judges on the show the other two are complete rubbish and guess are always completely irrelevant. However the show Has it's great moments the performances are fun to watch. Great show I love it, please give us two new judges.

I thoroughly enjoyed The Masked Singer AU's first season. Its too bad most of the idiots posting reviews are too boring and unimaginative to enjoy a fun show like this. Even as a Canadian who doesnt know most of the Aussie celebs, it was still a blast. People, get a life if you are going to watch a show like this. If you don't know how to have fun, don't watch this show. You are too boring to enjoy it!

These shows are nothing but cash grabs for the networks and stupid popularity contests that people vote for that have no idea whatsoever of what they are really voting for. Ridiculous no talent people singing in front of back judges who hold no weight in the world of music. Only for the singers to go nowhere. Look at all the Idol and Australia's Got Talent winners. Absolute hacks!!
No, don't think of Shannon Noll, Guy Sebastian, Casey Donovan etc...they're all terrible and have been doing it for so long only to be nobodies. Absolutely killing the industry, meanwhile real talent is out there everyday and every weekend playing to nobody for no money. STOP THESE SHOWS NOW!!!!!

Bunch of so called celebrity clowns dancing like monkeys for even bigger clowns involved in the production. Disgraceful, you would have thought that creating this circus wouldn't need too many bright ideas, instead they went with no ideas and stealing licensed content from genuine artists instead. One of which was Halocene, bunch of talented people trying to make living doing what they love. Who knows, they might have not been the only ones that were taken advantage of. Also children know that if you want to plagiarise, at least change some bits up - that proved too difficult of a task for all those 'brilliant' people involved, shame on you!

Worst show in history of Australian television. No reason to watch.
They do nothing for anyone. It's just a cash grab for already rich celebrity's who have been forgotten.
There's no donating to charities, there's no real reason to watch. The only person I could imagine watching this, is toddlers who like the flashing colours and music.
