I would actually place this as the best episode in the serial so far, it is packed with goodies, twists and turns galore, plot developments, snipers, even a poisoning. I can't think of many shows that could pack in such a content into under thirty minutes, and remain easy to follow, whilst being gripping and intriguing.
Such was the quality of Francis Durbridge's writing that you're never certain as to someone's guilt or innocence until the very end, and right now I can't decide if Harry Brent is a good guy or a bad guy, who was planning on taking him out? and has he poisoned Carol. As always I have so many questions, I'm keen to know if the irishman the Police picked up is actually the mysterious Kevin Jason, or if his identity was conveniently discovered.
Does Carol really love Harry, or does she still have feelings for Alan. Only two episodes remaining, and I must admit I'm none the wiser.
Loved it, 9/10
