- Season 16, episode 189. Leonie reacts disappointed when Laurenz seems to hesitate; a relief when he accepts her proposal of marriage. They agree to wait announcing their life decision to others. Frank and Hilli agree to let Laurenz and Leonie go their own way. Leonie can't help telling Hilli about her fresh engagement. Soon Frank knows it also. A publisher brings Leonie's children book to market. Yvonne can start as manager of a nail salon in Itzehoe. She says goodbye to Frank. He has no hope that Hilli will come back to him. After a farewell party Leonie and Laurenz take baby Irene with them to Potsdam. Former addict Anne catches Ben seeking through her handbag. He suspects her of taking painkillers but doesn't find any. She reacts disappointed by his lack of trust. Ben talks with Carla about it. Near his workshop he shows Anne that he can't help himself for not trusting her. Anne understands him and thanks him for being on her side during a bad time. Luke tells Britta about the day he spent with his daughter Josephine he met for the first time. He has a new job in Hamburg. Britta writes her foster mother Hannelore a letter while Luke hesitates to write his daughter in Zürich. He ponders and then decides to move to Swiss. Cem writes a business plan; he wants to deliver bread he baked himself. Amelie feels honored when Gunter asks her to become hotel scout for the Ancient Listed Hotels of the World. Gregor tries to lure the hotel's best receptionist away with money. Amelie discusses this with hotel owner Gunter. He finally decides to let Gregor do it. Alex shows up in Carla's kitchen to become the replacement of Carla who leaves for a longer period. Although they cooperated aboard in a galley of a cruise ship she wants him to cook a certain dish as a test. He adds his own touch to it which Carla doesn't like.—B. Dijkhoff
