A Prologue to Spider-Man: Far From Home

I wish more studios convert their deleted footages into shorts. This one was a real banger. I saw that the poster has a "Marvel One-Shot" logo, and FYI this one's not actually a part of "Marvel One-Shot."

Better than the actual movie!!

Yes I dared say it I honestly enjoy this little short over the movie Spider-Man far from home itself!! The short is fun seeing more of peter just packing for a trip and even doing more traditional peter Parker things like selling toys to pay for trip.and the last fight scene is actually very well done and entertaining and you get to see Spider-Man being funny and jokey with both the criminals and cops. Idk I just loved this short thought it had a lot of the great stuff from homecoming that far from home was missing;)

A menace!

This short takes place directly before Spider-Man Far From Home. I found it funny and liked it. Also I appreciated how we saw again that man from the previous movie.

Perfectly Fine
tylerdburns-813222 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The thirty fourth entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Peter's To-Do List is a perfectly fine short. It starts pretty slowly, but does shortly get to it's fast pace. The short simply shows Peter getting ready for his vacation, all relatable little things, like selling his old toys so he has money to buy MJ a gift. However, Peter using his suit to cheat his way out of like to get his passport, while funny and something 99% of people would do, doesn't feel "Peter Parker like." It simply feels as if it goes against his character. Besides that, it's fine. This would work better just being put in the film rather then as an independent short though.

It feels more like a collection of deleted scenes (which it is) than an actual short.

'Peter's To-Do List (2019)' is a short film comprised of scenes cut from (but present in the trailers for) 'Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)'. It's essentially a montage of things Peter does prior to his departure to Europe in that film's first act, things like picking up a charging adapter and incapacitating a group of mobsters. It's relatively diverting, crafted with the same charm and energy as its big-screen companion, but it feels more like a collection of deleted scenes (which it is) than an actual short itself. Still, it's decent enough for what it is. 6/10.

Warning: Spoilers
"Peter's To-Do List" is an American 200-second live action short film from 2019 directed by Jon watts and this can be found as an extra on the DVD of the new Spider-Man movie. So of course at the center of it all is Tom Holland and we see him take care of some final things before a trip to Europe. This includes buying an adapter, selling some of his toys to get something nice for a girl, getting a passport and finally also helping the general public by arresting a mobster family. It's typical new Spider-Man I'd say. Which means I did not like it as much. The scene when he keeps this one action figure is still mildly funny, the pretty brief passport scene not too much really and also in general the comedy is just too weak and it's all about the action if you take a look at the cop near the end who wants something for his kid or niece or so. Also the brief introduction between Parker and his chubby nerdy friend early on did very little for me. Besides, I take Maguire over him any time when Peter was not in need of a bulletproof suit (spider's don't wear armor either) and also he did not feel the need to stay with the cops and show them his achievement. A call would have been enough. Oh well. So yeah I have no intention to buy the DVD or BluRay, but if I did I probably would not be impressed by this add-on either. You must be a really big Spidey/Holland fan in order to like this one, probably a bigger Holland fan as I like Spidey a lot, maybe he is even my favorite superhero. But not the way he is depicted here. 4 stars out of 10 is still on the genereous side. Glad it was this short. Watch something else instead.
