Hm...

Warning: Spoilers
Almost certain the fight between Paul James (who plays Calvin) and the extra playing Trent wasn't 100% scripted or choreographed...

Got the sense that the extra was dog-whistling with the homophobic slur his character was scripted. You just know it when you see it. Truly its a 10/10 ep, the -1 is my reservation about how safe the actor was during shooting and discomfort at the idea of such an incident being aired.

Great Gatsby party time!

Love this episode. The "theme party" episodes are always fun. We get more Alan Ruck (who really will NEVER escape those Ferris Bueller references, huh?), which is always appreciated. We also see thr lingering feelings between Casey and Cappie, which spur Cappie to progress things with Rebecca.

Calvin's considering joining Kappa Tau was an unexpectedly good storyline. Since we see things mainly from Rusty's perspective, it's kind of been a mystery why anyone would want to be in Omega Chi. We get the answer to that in this episode, which reminds us that the Greek system is more about making connections in life than partying for some.

It did break my heart a bit to see Bobby Campo playing a homophobic jerk, but it provided a great characyer moment for Evan.
