Pretty decent

I only watched it to train my chinese, didn't expect much from it, but it was quite entertaining. A lot of feelings involved and released. Also, some comical moments. Pretty decent.

Warning: Spoilers
There should be such a journey in the course of everyone's life. It allows you to calm down and feel yourself and understand life. "Aunt" is not so much a comedy movie as a warm road movie. In the tenderness and tenderness, Xu Yan described the anxiety and wolf howling in the middle-aged man as a last resort and wolfberry in a thermos cup. Teacher Huang Meiying, who plays her mother, is both acting and funny. Every move makes people shout "It's too subtle"! The most amazing performance is the part of Yuan Quan. After she separated from Xu Yiwan, the wife she played was wearing a trench coat and leather shoes, striding among a group of exotic faces. That was both the liberation and rise of a woman, and the best ending of the whole story.

Interesting

The whole movie seems a love story - between mother and son. Well I don't bother to watch the trailer first so I don't have an idea what was this all about. Lost in Russia is more a family drama than comedy, it has barely genuine funny moments and most of the scenes are the struggling relationship of a full grown man to his mother and ex wife.

Interesting because I often avoid the genre of comedy because its stupid and shallow, but this one keeps me hook from beginning to end.

Typical example of an Asian parent

Warning: Spoilers
"Taking your sarcasm serious", "feeding stuff no matter whenever and whatever you are doing", "Making meaningless arguments" etc. I can relate all!!! Being a Chinese mum isn't easy, but believe it or not, it's not easy being a Chinese child too with a mother like that. This film fully portrayed the love and relationship between the pair of mother and son, with a mellow story plot, experienced actors and great photography. Many Chinese mother and child relationships are "at the state" at this moment, quick tech development, media explosion created generation gap to be bigger than usual, therefore greater conflicts too, and this is why so many of us saw this inside or out of China and thought this was just like "Us".

Personally, I am really picky when it comes to Chinese movies, but this I watched twice in one week. Great one Xu Zheng!!!

Great film, great story

A really good film, full of ups and down in emotions. Some really sad moments, some stressful and plenty of comedic relief. Good messaging in the story. Has full English subtitles and is available for free online, so it's worth the watch

Heart-warming family movie

I was expecting something like "Lost in Thailand" and was surprised of the mother-and-son relationship theme. It still made me laugh with no dull moments but I cried more. It even made me reflect on my own life ^_^ The almost 2 hour runtime is so worth it! :-)
