The cosmic holes are black holes, white holes and wormholes. White Holes and wormholes are theoretical. There is this idea that theories from science fiction eventually prove to be real science. Maybe this is true in some cases and not true in others. It is hard to believe in time travel. A hypothetical wormhole in space is compared to a worm eating its way through an apple. The hole becomes a shortcut to another place. Another place in the universe if wormholes exist in space! Scientists at CERN in Switzerland are using the Hadron Collider to try to create mini black holes. CERN is the European Organization for Nuclear Research. It is also the name of the lab. Some familiar faces show up, notably Michio Kaku, who seems determined to outdo Einstein the way Einstein outdid Newton.
