Dont bring back Dawson. The show was getting so much better again without her character. She is a horrible actress and the character sucks! I almost quit watching when she was on and every storyline was her either a victim or hero. Then she left and Kidd was a much better choice for lead character and a better actress. I'll quit watching if she comes back fulltime. Yuck.

I love the dymanic between Jesse and Monica, they are amazing, I call it chemistry, it's intangible, every time they leave me speechless. That song, their song brought all the feelings, I'm happy they still love each other very much. More than happy because there is still a chance of watching her again on the show, maybe next season, If they continue to ask her to come (Derek's interviews say all about it : )), I'll be here for it, just expect they dont ruin dawsey love while she is off. Gimme my dawsey back.

Besides the fact there's no sizzle between these two, I can't stand her character's "Never Wrong - Always Right, self-centered, Self-righteous, holier than thou attitude; over & over we have endured her sulking & pouting, or her mean hostile ultimatum assigning behavior. What if Matt were to realize "Gab Gab all about me," isn't who's making his heart race. Who could miss the "Match of Heavenly Perfection," that has sparked up at Firehouse 51? Hopefully not the writer's, because it's clearly time for Matt to experience an epiphany. Just a little creativity might produce some Frame by Frame recording of Matt's mind displaying his attraction to Brett and the desire it so easily provokes. But then who's to say we aren't viewing Matt's State of Dreams? That opens up endless story lines. Change the scene to Ms Gabby, Goody "The Pretender, Two-Shoes, Flying off back to save the world. I strongly suggest we kill her off in a sudden and tragic plane crash. As long as we are teased into into the belief there's blissful happiness on the horizon for Matt & Brett, "Chicago Fire" is sure to heat way up!

It's been better without her character.

Matt should have walked up to her... Look at her confused and simply say, fo I know you??

And then just walk away... Closure for him.

The average response to her character,was dislike,verging on hate,why bring a toxic back,if she stays,I stop watching period.

I had to look to see if this episode was reviewed because the character Dawson is back. I knew that the overall rating would be much lower than the other individual episodes. This woman - both character and actress - make me want to puke. The character that the writers have/had created is vile and her acting is horrible and I find her very unattractive with zip chemistry with Casey. They always seemed ill-suited and awkward with each other. WHY bring her back? All over the internet, about 9 out of 10 people could not stand her character nor the actress...except for this lone wolf who rated this episode 10 out of 10 stars and wrote: "I want my dawsie back." PUKE. Go get a life and while your at it - some level of discernment.
