First Confession is a film adaption of the classic short story by Irish author, Frank O'Connor.
Jackie, a young boy making his first confession before holy communion, fears confessing his terrible sins because he tried to kill his sister with a bread knife. The film follows poor Jackie as he struggles to keep from murdering his enemies, avoid the fires of hell and cope with the dark mysteries of the confession box.
