- [first lines]
- Edison: Woo hoo! Once upon a Christmas eve, there was a little town called Alphaville. And in this little town was a boy named Tad, who loved birthdays, the first day of spring and summer vacations. But can you guess what was his favorite time of year?
- Edison: Your wish, I granted. Now everything is just a "Tad" different. In this world, you never existed.
- Tad: What do you mean I never existed?
- Edison: It's like this. I came down in a ball of lightning and you said
- [imitating Tad's voice]
- Edison: "Edison, I wish weren't even here." So then bam, bing, boom, here we are in a world where no one knows you.
- Tad: Why isn't he standing up to Parker?
- Edison: Weird, isn't it? When Leap had you for a little brother, he was different. He always tried to do his best because you looked up to him.
- Tad: That's silly. Leap doesn't need me around to be himself.
- Edison: You think so? Well, it's hard to be a role model for someone you never met.
- Tad: Aw, you're cuckoo.
- Parker: Hey, you talkin' to me?
- Tad: No.
- Parker: Are you talkin' to me? Well, I don't see nobody else, so you must be talkin' to me.
- Tad: I'm talking to Edison. The bug with the cute little wings next to me. Duh.
- Edison: Uh, Tad, I forgot to tell you that, uh, no one else can see or hear me.
- Tad: That's probably not good.
