We want season 2.... This is the best show I love the chemistry Between xukai and Cheng xiao They set a fire in chemistry🔥

I actually had a good time watching this! I wasn't expecting to be this entertaining after I got a bit disappointed with Go Go Squid, in this one characters actually have personality.

They rely heavily on the egames and the matches and they actually show you parts of the live action and the fights which I thought I was going to hate but I actually found myself looking forward for them! I thought it was very well done animation and it doesn't get repetitive or boring at all.

It's a very simple, lighthearted drama with nothing too overwhelming or dramatic but that's probably what most people look for when they just want to spend a nice time watching something sweet.

I think the message of this drama was told pretty good. The e-sports community needs recognition. Is not only people playing videogames. For some people is an occupation, a job, their dream. They want to pursue e-sports as a way of making a living. Before this drama I didn't know that e-sports was so important for some people.

I think that this drama is not only a love story. The drama shows that never is to late to make a dream come true and that you can do a lot of things related to e-sports no only play. It shows the struggles of people that want to pursue e-sports as a job and don't having support by their families, friends, lovers, etc. We know that for most people, e-sports are not a "real job".

I, a person who didn't know a lot of e-sports, recognize that probably the drama doesn't recreate their world perfectly, but it shows that people in it have worries. They have difficulties, they have fears. It shows how humans they are and I think it's important and validated cause sometimes we don't value their dreams and we take them as fools for wanting something different.

Besides that, I totally loved the romance. They aren't perfect but I think that Lu Si Cheng and Tong Yao don't have a toxic relationship and seeing that in a drama this days, is awesome.

The only thing is that I didn't like the role of Fatty or Chubby, the support guy. I don't like that they make fun of him for eating, and they make him eat all the time. Idk. It doesn't feel right watching them in the drama making fun of him for being "fat" or "eating too much".

Besides that, is a good drama, is easy to watch and enjoyable. I really want a second season. Fingers crossed.

I was a bit surprised when I read that Chinese audiences disliked the show when it premiered because honestly this is a fantastic lighthearted show about a falling in love while doing what she loves. I'm so over Dramas that are melodramatic and this was perfect for people like me that just wants some happiness. Now let me further elaborate the great things this show does.

-----Acting----- Every single actor in this show is fantastic. Especially the leads. I never feel as if they're phoning it in or they're their real life selves rather than the characters they are playing. The characters feeling genuine might have helped as well.

-----Characters---- For the most part, every character (even if not shown with the most screen time) has their own quirks or personality traits. And lesser characters still shine due to the great actors portraying them. The main leads in particular are fascinating to watch because they both have very individualistic or proud personalities but different ways of showing them which plays well with their dynamic when interacting with one another. Speaking of which, their chemistry is breathtaking and at the level I've only seen in the 'Intense Love' series.

----Story---- The story isn't revolutionary but it's the execution in which it plays out that makes it a very addicting watch. It's similar to a fish out of water scenario mixed with a rise to power story in a sense( Mixed in with romance throughout). Again, this wouldn't be as good as it is without the well defined characters interacting with each other believably to their own personalities. The story also doesn't make characters do ridiculous things for the sake of drama. They only do what their characters would naturally do, which makes them feel like real people that live in china rather than from a TV show. That's very difficult for dramas to do properly and makes the show ever more admirable.

------Conclusion------ This show is utterly fantastic so far and I hope many more people watch this show. It's not just the aspects above that are fantastic but the cinematography, animation and editing that feel very professional and done with care. Watch this show. You won't regret it.

To be honest, i didn't expect anything when i first started this drama, i heard many c- netizens complained about this drama even before this drama aired, but i still tried to watch it because of the male lead Xu Kai. And thanks god i made the right decision, it turned out this is the best modern drama of this year so far. They deliver us With the best chemistry between 2 leads, a refreshing e-sport gamer with animation combination , a comedy romance that makes us laugh and heart-melting as well. We're eagerly waiting for each episodes to be aired. This is really a great light hearted comedy romance drama.

I haven't tried C-Dramas in a while, because all of them were very predictable and the female leads got me exhausted after a few episodes. But after all the commentaries and praises I tried and what can I say except that I spent the last three days to bingewatch this show while I was learning for an really important exam. But ohhh my gosh! This Drama is amazing.

The Cast is sooo incredible and the chemistry between Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao is extraordinary. I love it soooo soooo sooo much ... And I hope there will be a second season ... But for now I just go rewatch the first one <3.

This is the best Modern drama that i've ever watched in 2021. Everything was perfect, with handsome , smart, rich e-gamer Male Lead and Pretty, Smart e-gamer FEmale Lead. The story line was good, a Funny, Romance e-gamers drama that makes our heart melts everytime we watch this.

This drama is indeed highly recommended.

This is my most favorite CDrama so far. I fell in love so hard that I start to look for BTS videos while waiting for the new episodes to be released. I initially watched Ancient Love Poetry but I need to set aside that one first because of FIYS. In FIYS, the scenes are so cute, funny, romantic that I can't stop smiling like a teenager. I couldn't contain my excitement that I start to convince my sister to watch it even if I know she's really not into cdramas. Thankfully, I have successfully convinced her who successfully convinced her officemates as well. Hahahaha See the effect?

The leads are amazing. They have this chemistry that you can't ignore. The looks are so perfect as if they are made for each other. ❤ I love the stares between them, the vibe they are giving me. I love Lu SiCheng's eyes, handsome face and Tong Yao's innocence and prettiness. XuKai and ChengXiao made the best partnership on this one. Sometimes, the BTS are much more romantic, sweeter and funnier compared to the real scene. ✌😁❤ I fell in love and still falling , with their smiles and laughters time and again after watching and re-watching. The other characters are so funny as well and they did great too to make the drama even more interesting. They have the best team! The production crews are great also especially the Director to be able to give the audience this kind of vibe.

I hope to see a 2nd season for this drama and another drama for Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao very soon. It's a waste of chemistry if they won't be paired in another drama again. It's really great to watch them on/off cam.

Pros: Good story. Good choice of actors. Exciting. Great graphics on the 3D animated parts. Held together all the way through. Smiling and her best friend were as cute as they could be, and really did a lot to carry the show. Her teammates were equally charming... including "Chubby", who was portrayed with a great personality (one might remember that in some cultures, chubby means well-fed and thus successful).

If one speaks the original language this series would likely be much more enjoyable, but...

Cons: It's a very long 31 episodes... and the English captions often flashed on the screen so very quickly that I had to constantly have my finger on the pause and rewind buttons to see what was just said. The captions often switched from the bottom to the top of the screen and back again. A really poor job that made the show difficult, time-consuming and irritating to watch. I'm surprised I stuck with it for 31 episodes.

A big downside was the constant focus on the gaming screens themselves, in which the viewer had trouble following what was going on. Those shots really weren't essential to the plot. They could have gone through the entire series leaving the game itself as screens in the background, focusing instead on the players and audience. This excessive "game-view" stunt may have come across well to the Chinese E-gamer community... but the average viewer had to just listen to the announcers to understand what was happening in the game. 31 episodes of bad subtitles and in-game focus convinced me I'll not put up with such again. This series was audio-translated to other languages, so why not English? (Netflix... what's the deal?)

I won't spoil then ending by saying whether it was predictable or not... but I will say that at least for me, it was anticlimactic. It did leave room for a second season, but I won't be in that audience. I've had enough of playing the constant pause/rewind game.

It was a fun and interesting show to watch (although very taxing). So I give it 6 stars for the characters, basic story, sets and graphics. But really, Netflix needs to work on those captions. If we can't read them, why bother?

We falling in your smile fan wishing and requesting to have season 2 plsss with the same cast or can be added but the team at it is , because xu kai and chengxiao is really match for this series .

Couldn't even get past the 4th episode, same old e-sports story,only one female in the whole team, love story between the best players,second male lead....it's so headache infucing. Only wanted to watch it because of the cast and soundtrack but couldn't. Cdramas really need to step up the game this is getting tiresome, same old plot even with high budget and resources. Unless it's a historical drama, I can't even finish ONE Cdrama😭

I was having such a lovely time watching this fantasy fun drama when reality hit me like a cow carcass on a vegans plate. The protagonist to show her naïveté orders not one but two bowls of shark fin soup...how absolutely upsetting and disappointing I had to turn it if immediately . This show is in a bubble of unreality and clearly it's writers have no idea how upsetting this particular food delicacy is to anyone with love of the environment . Shark fin harvesting is the cruelest thing that can be done to Creatures that iare essential part of the oceans ecosystem . I was loving this show But now I urge anyone with a heart and a brain to ban it and frankly Netflix should be ashamed too.

I really love this drama, i have a lot great experience from this drama and really hope have special episode. Their chemistry really not a joking, they have a great combination, despite the controversies about this drama before, this drama is really worth for watching, and the cast of this drama deserve to be supported for their hard work.

I really like this drama. Both Female Lead and Male Lead have a really great chemistry, their romance are really awesome. The animation thing that replaced the game scenes were also really cool, it really felt like they fought each other in the game and we could feel that. I like a strong FL that can stand by each other with Male lead. This drama proves that Female also can be a great player just like Male. I wish they have 2nd seasons though.

How many times have I watched this drama again and I never get bored. I think I really love this drama. I hope there will be a season 2.

I like the storyline and the whole concept of this series. A female e-sports player trying to navigate her life in a male-dominated space while also falling in love with one of her team mates? It's a cute and an interesting story. The romance part of the plot and everything else were balanced out really well. Even though I'm not super interested in e-sports this was still fairly entertaining to me, I especially enjoyed the animations. The chemistry and acting were all pretty good too. I do think the story started to become more slow-paced and uninteresting in the last quarter. I feel like they missed some very good (and obvious) opportunities to make it more interesting towards the end.

Preface: Before I begin, I'll preface this with some background information I had going into the show. I started playing Dota 1, which is a multiplayer online battle arena (moba) game similar to the game played in this show, back in 2002, and then I moved onto Dota 2 when it was first released. There were some other moba games in between, such as League of Legends (LoL) and Heroes of Newerth (HoN), but the first tournament I saw was Dota 2 around 2011, so watching this show was very nostalgic to me. In the first episode, I thought the Tong Yao (main actress) was playing League of Legends. Apparently, the game in this show is a copy of it. I thought it was for legal reasons, but this is actually a real game (that started out as a mobile game). Other than that, this show focuses more on how a team's relationship grows while relating it to moba gaming, and that's what got me hooked.

My review: This show portrays a group of gamers coming together and building relationships that could typically happen in real life. For those who don't know what the gaming world has evolved into nowadays, people who take games seriously will join others and live in the same house to practice their skills as a team (of course, there are some other teams/clans/friends/etc. That just move in together for pure entertainment). You get to see what it's like for players to come together, practice and fight for a championship, have their quarrels, sympathize with the characters' past and current dilemmas, and all the other typical occurrences in a drama.

You also will see how the beginning journey for e-sport players isn't easy. Society, such as China in this case, shows us how parents expect their children to study and be obedient to what they think is best for them or what is the norm, and you get to see what several of the characters had to go through to get to where they are.

I personally thought there was a lot humor in each episode, much of them were the cute-type of jokes. Tong Yao and Lu Sicheng (main characters) have a nice chemistry with each other that didn't make me dislike them at any point of the show. Usually with dramas, there's always someone who comes in the picture and makes me hate them and then like them back again, but I'm soooo glad that this show kept me enjoying every episode. I liked how sometimes they always had this expression of either being mad or worried, but I really liked it when you see them smile. I also was definitely pleased how they both handled people of the opposite sex.

The other team members in the house were also great. You'll really enjoy how well they push along the show. One member is introverted and cold but becomes welcoming, another is funny and likeable from the start, another is oblivious and innocent, another is childish but supportive. The coach is mature and helpful. The manager is very nice and funny in his own way. They were all great, and I didn't see them doing anything that made me hate them at all.

After getting halfway through the series, I was motivated to hop back onto Dota 2, and I realized that they could have talked more about skills, items, detailed strategies, etc. To let the viewers understand what was going on. However, I think the route they chose was good and easy enough for nongamers to understand and follow along. There was enough nostalgia for me to recall the call-outs and game jargon, such as 'adc', 'ganking', 'jungling', 'ultimate', 'skills need to be refreshed', etc. That made me appreciate the incorporation, while not getting too technical for people who've never played moba games to still enjoy this show.

Nit-Picks (just in case you thought I was just biased towards this movie, I did wish there was some changes, but the series overall was so good that this list doesn't even make me want to bring down my rating):

• Some of the dialogues were so quick, and some of the subtitles give you one second to read long sentences.

• The audio recording was not done professionally (or the producers simply did not like the actors'/actresses' voices). About half of the scripts seem like they had to be rerecorded, so it looked like they were dubbing themselves, lol.

• I dislike how they showed the first kiss scene. I also don't like how just about every kissing scene seemed quite uncomfortable for the girl.

• They only show how the ZDGX team always starts in the bottom left corner (except for the first episode), but in moba games, you could start from the upper right side as well. I guess the writers/directors thought that it would be easier for regular reviews to follow. However, they keep switching the colors of the teams during the fight scenes, so you really have to look closely who is on the green team or the red team.

• They always show how the team(s) win by going through the middle lane, even though there is a top and bottom lane that you can push.

• It's pretty difficult for someone who's never played or watched any moba games to know everything that's going on when they're playing. For most of the gameplays, I had to keep pausing and watch frame by frame because to know what was happening.

• They could have done a better job by identifying the players of the animations. Since I never played this game, I had no clue who was playing who in the beginning, but by the 3rd animation, I was able to follow along. Even then, it's not easy to follow along.

• I'm not sure if it's common occurrence in China, but I thought it was annoying to see that when players/managers get in trouble for petty things, they can lose 1-3 months of salary!!!

If you are a fan of online gaming, you may enjoy this as half of it shows the games. If not, you will be bored to death. The actors and actresses are cute, but the plot is very predictable and there is nothing interesting. It is surely overrated.

And this year is really good for cdrama (2021) and I m really grateful.

At first I thought I won't like any online game drama after seeing Love 020. But this drama I have no words to say how incredible I am feeling after watching this and please director os this drama please consider season 2 for this. I have love and support to the all the cast and crew for delivering such a wonderful masterpiece. Such a great balance between all the characters no one is that great such as in fantasies, no one is always unbeatable, no one is weak but rather they have their own flaws, strength and insecurities . In spite of that, they make great efforts and devote themselves to their belief. It's really hard to explain people what you are doing when your field isn't popular according to societal belief on their child's career. This drama shows great sense of balance between romance and career. They remain focused and stayed strong till the end while being deeply in love with each other. They respect their competitors and always try to improve themselves.

Last but most important point that this drama shows us that we fans who always wish best for our idol sometimes forget that they too are human they too have their own life and choices. I see news where they bully other celebrities or sometimes we criticise our own idol for loving someone that ultimately lead to a full stop of their career. I too made such mistakes but after seeing this i realised we expect too much from our idol we want them to be perfect all the time , it s good to wish from our idol but being too much is really bad.

MOST IMPORTANT : I MA REALLY GRATEFUL FOR SUCH A CAST AND CREW AND I REALLY HOPE FOR SEASON 2 . I M TOO MUCH IMPRESSED BY THE STORYLINE AND ACTING OF ALL OF THEM ARE .......KUDOS. GOSH THEY ALL ARE SO HANDSOME AND PRETTY WITH SUCH GREAT TALENT. YOU ARE CUNNING PRODUCTION TEAM AND ALSO KNOWS WHAT FANS WANT.

I guess this is the longest feedback I have written for any drama. I might go on writing but need to stop now otherwise it will go too long.
