Very unique content and metaphorical story telling by the director, is a very brave choice and new to Kannada industry. Sanchari Vijay as always given a fantastic performance. Heroine has done a very good job with natural and subtle performance. Villain is not good he has done over acting.

The title "Melobba Mayavi" itself is deep, pithy and full of meaning, which creates curiosity in the audience. Sanchari Vijay as Iruve has nailed his acting to perfection. His dialogues on the ultimate truth of life, combined with his eccentric mannerisms (thanks to his disorder) are classic. He deserves all the accolades for blending so well to the demands of the script. Sadly, the movie industry could never utilise his talent when he was alive. Chandrachud as Suleiman, the villain, personified himself well as the cruel character playing havoc with innocent and poverty-stricken villagers. This is the debut movie of the director Naveen Krishna, who despite being a journalist, has shown professionalism and expertise in screenplay.

'Melobba Mayavi' is an #unpredictable, engrossing romantic-thriller that raises relevant questions. 'MM' gifts a talented debutant director B Naveen Ktishna @bnknavinkrishna to Kfi and I cant even imagine any other actor than @sancharivijay in lead role. Amazing film, BGM awesome.

I'm not sure about the headline, because this movie at the end says 'to be continued'.
No words about Vijay's acting. It is little similar to his previous release 'Taledanda'. The screenplay could had been better. I think the movie must be incomplete with the untimely death of Vijay.
Heroin has acted well too. You'll hate the villain character.
