The Mole
claudio_carvalho25 October 2021
Sgt. Grey gathers his team and explains that in thirty days, the rookies will finish their training and asks the TOs to press their rookies. While patrolling, they hear a dispatch call of a police car chasing a Maserati and when the car is stopped, the rookie Chris Rios is shot and dies. The criminal leaves the car in a parking building and Nolan finds the gun and locks in the safe in the police car. Harper needs to go to the court for the dispute of her daughter and Nick Armstrong lends his car to her and goes with Nolan. Out of the blue, the dispatch call informs that the LAPD and the SWAT will bust the house of the murderer's brother looking for him and Nolan and Nick head to the spot. When Nolan arrives at the police station, he learns that the weapon is missing. Soon Sgt. Grey assigns Lopez to find a mole in the police department.

Again, end of season and a excellent episode. "The Q Word" is the penultimate episode of the Second Season of the "The Rookie" and another excellent episode. The conclusion is totally unexpected. My vote is nine.

It was amazing. Enjoyed every twist and turn. Poor Nolan though.

The 'plot twist' is not really a plot twist

Warning: Spoilers
If you paid any attention to the show, you saw this coming from a mile away. Such a shame, this could have been soo much better.

How the show started as a pretty unique concept, it ended as a similar show like any other cop show. Time to find something new...

LUCY DESERVES BETTER
awbusa7 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
LUCY shouldn't be put with anymore males after how many disasters she has had - putting her with a black guy is just pandering at this point & LUCY should've tried dating WOMEN for awhile just to see if she had better luck

my 2nd season score is 8 STARS ⭐ out of 10 STARS ⭐ - the 2nd season needed improvement in the writing & more specifically the directing of action scenes because they seem frantic & the people are too close together to differentiate the action to see what's happening.

Background music is intrusive
Windrider611 May 2020
The background music was too loud, bad, and intrusive, making the dialog difficult to understand. That music made a good episode bad.

I would have thought that the target audience for this TV Show would be people the same age or older as John Nolan, which is 40ish. The style of music used, though, indicates a target audience of urban millennials.

If and when the next season starts, maybe I might watch the first episode or two to see if the makers of this show get their heads on straight and dump the loud, awful music.
