18 & 19 November
Lund and Meyer visit the defunct Merkur owners in pursuit with a link with Birk Larsen, the remover theory, and Mette Hauge's disappearance.
The Birk Larsen's engage a solicitor to defend their interests when the police investigation reopens.
Vagn arranges for Birk Larsen's employees to help with the new house before being taken in for questioning about his time at Merkur. Lund spots Leon at the Birk Larsen workshop. Vagn's mother died in childbirth (not from alcoholism) and his father abandoned him at 15; both were doctors but Vagn apparently lacked the intellect or aptitude to complete the degree. Amir fails to pick out the delivery man from a police line up.
Hartmann persists in his allegations against Bremer. Stokke turns up at Hartmann's offices and they reach a deal for Stokke to cooperate with the police but Bremer claims he has other witnesses to the meeting.
Leon tells Pernille Vagn cancelled work on the weekend of the disappearance. Theis prevents Vagn taking the twins to the toy store.
A skeleton is recovered from the canal wrapped in Merkur branded tape. Leon flees from Lund and Meyer outside Vagn's flat.
