Best episode since the S2 opener

Back to the original form... quirky, unexpected and subversively funny. Lots of great moments: a bathroom meeting, doll recordings and a WTF top deck bus encounter. If they keep up the momentum from this episode I will be glued to my tv for the remainder of the season...

Would Give It 12 Stars If I Could

Kudos to Director Miranda Bowen, and to the fantastic performances of the cast, especially the leads, Jodie, Sandra, Fiona, and Kim. But, ladies and gentlemen, words matter. The writing was superlative. Laura Neal's contribution was the lynch pin of this entire production. Art.

"Finally"
Lara12P27 April 2020
After watching the first two episodes, I feared a season 3 without any depth in storyline, ending up in a "Game of Thrones" like disappointment. However, this episode opened a wide range of new interesting topics. Topics we have been waiting for. And FINALLY progression in what we all wanted... you know.

Dark humor, a perfectly timed soundtrack, amazingly written screenplay. Killing Eve is back.

Wow! This blows the whole season wide open!

After a relatively slow two first episodes of buildup, this episode delivers some shocking interactions and murders - all happening quicker than expected! Jodie Comer and Fiona Shaw (the whole cast really!) are really giving it their all right now, and the tense scenes where handled exceptionally well here.

This show is at its best when it balances witty and unexpected humor with properly dramatic moments, and i'm very confident in this show's direction heading forward after witnessing a masterclass in just that. Can't wait for next Sunday!

I miss Phoebe Waller-Bridge, but Jodie Comer makes it all worth it. Loved the episode.

The dark comedy, the music, the tension, the cat-mouse vibes... That's right, this episode brings back that season 1 feeling that was missing last season in a refreshing way. I think this will be the episode that defines the entire third season, and will just gradually increase the tension and the dangers that the original 4 might have to face in the last 2-3 episodes.

Season 1 vibes

Honestly one of the best episodes of the show. I thought they could never go back to that S1 thrilling out-of-breath experience, but this episode proved me wrong. Incredible acting, incredible writing. 10/10

Meetings Have Biscuits

Warning: Spoilers
Eve was right about one thing. If you want protection, do not get MI5 involved.

Villanelle is in London for a kill and this time Carolyn comes face to face with her. Lucky for Carolyn that she was not the target. However she lost an important link to the Twelve.

The trip to London also brings Villanelle in contact with Eve on a London bus. This third series needed both of them to come face to face and get into some fisticuffs.

The best episode so far, it shows that the third series is gathering speed. There was a wonderful opening in Spain with Villanelle showing that a tuning fork can have several uses.

There was a lot of information dump regarding the Twelve but who were expecting a baby dump?

Camera angles + soap opera effect= ruined the show
Vickiwind27 April 2020
Whoever decided to use the blurring motion and film from a low angle way too often, ruined the quality of the show. The quick flashing from person to person with the camera is also so distracting and takes away from the substance. On top of the writing already seriously declining, I find this season nearly unwatchable. I agree the plot finally picked in E3, but the production/filming is so disappointing for one of my formerly favorite shows.

Warning: Spoilers
I never thought I would be writing a bad review for KE, but this season is terrible. It suffers badly from dreary dialogue, dreary wardrobe (villanelle's outfits and flair are a crucial part of the character), and a chaotic script. On paper this season should work, but somehow it just doesn't seem to gel and I've found myself not able to care about what happens to the characters. I don't know how they've managed it, but even villanelle and eves intense relationship has lost its intrigue and excitement and feels as though it's being phoned in when villanelle inexplicably turns up on eves bus..erm, what?!. I get the feeling the actors disagreed with much of the direction of the series as even they seem to cringe through parts of it, and are internally eye rolling at some sachirine sentence they've got to trot out. I also never thought I'd see fake 10/10 reviews for this series but this site is littered with them, which is a sure fire confirmation that this series is done. I miss phoebe :0/
