- When Doug's work in Agrestic is investigated, he abdicates from responsibility and takes refuge in Ren Mar where the Botwins sit Shiva after Bubbie's death. Nancy and Andy run another errand for Guillermo.
- The family comes home, dressed in black. Mary sits on Bubbie's empty bed. Len lights a candle. Silas asks if she left a will. Len says yes, everything's his.
"OK, let's take off our shoes and sit and pay respect to a courageous woman who escaped the clutches of Adolf Hitler to live a long, productive life...only to be snuffed out by a hypo-allergenic pillow from Bed, Bath and Beyond."
Nancy looks guilty.
The prepare to sit shiva.
Len explains they'll be sitting and remembering and occasionally breaking for snacks.
A Realtor brings by a snack, hoping for the listing.
Day two, Rad the kid next door stops by with cheese from his mom.
Day three, a hot woman stops in, recognizing the first Realtor.
Day four, Doug shows up. Andy said he could crash, but Len's not thrilled.
Day five, Len sends Doug to the convenience store with lottery numbers. They're his mom's Holocaust numbers. "Hey, they're obviously lucky, she survived," Doug says. A giant flower cross is delivered. The note is from Guillermo, telling Nancy to get her ass back to work.
Day six, Doug catches a fly with his bare hands.
Day seven, Len counts down the end of shiva and announces the house is now for sale. He's unconcerned about where Nancy and the kids are supposed to live.
Bob the Realtor makes a pitch for the house. Len tells him he's going with the hot chick.
Nancy reports to work. Guillermo sympathizes with Nancy. "I had to smother a guy once with a pillow, too. My arms got tired. You?" "Not so much, it was Temperpedic. It formed to her face," says Nancy.
Guillermo presents Nancy with the choice of two coolers, red or blue. She goes with red. There's a gun and a juice box in it (the other one has no juice box). She has to go sit in the dessert and wait for a pick-up.
Back at the house, the Realtor tells Len he's not going to get the $1.5 million he wants for the house. He'll be lucky to get $1 mil. Bad news, since Len has $1.1 million borrowed against it.
Celia meets with Roy Till in a bar, reporting on the odd happenings Chez-Nancy. She has documentation of the shiva, but thinks it means Nancy's more powerful than they thought, that people visit her like a Don.
Roy tells her he thinks someone Jewish died and she's no Diane Arbus.
He makes her sing karaoke, basically an excuse for him to be super creepy and lecherous.
In the weed van, Andy, Doug and Silas get baked. Doug talks about his gay son and the fact his CPA license has been revoked.
Nancy stops in to get Andy.
In the house, Len has Shane looking for money in the house. They find a box. Shane looks at the dates - from after Bubbie was incapacitated - and realizes its probably his mom's money. Len asks why his mom would have $15,000 hidden in a hat box. Shane claims Nancy found it, but twitches his way through the lie.
Nancy and Andy wait in her car in the desert. Andy is extremely paranoid from the weed and starts freaking out. He grabs for the gun when a lizard slides down the windshield. Nancy calms him down. Then he freaks back out. They hear noises.
Back at the house, Len interrogates Shane. He asks if she's a prostitute. He thinks she's definitely a criminal of some kind. Doug walks in and out grabbing snacks, repeating himself. Len asks if she's a coke dealer. Doug comes in again, super high. Len puts it together. She's a weed dealer.
At the border, an official-looking Humvee pulls up. Thinking quickly, Nancy jumps on Andy's lap and starts making out with him, warning him not to enjoy it. They ask for her papers. Then the guy gives a wave and his men start unloading bags of product.
Back at the house, Silas and Doug babble. Doug notices the weed van getting towed. Len comes in and Doug tells him the grow house just got towed.
Back in the desert, they've loaded up the car but there's no room for Andy. Nancy tells him she'll be back in 45 minutes. She leaves him, telling him she understands now why women tolerate him. He kisses well.
Silas goes to pick up his van. The tow lot guy tells him he's supposed to call the cops. Silas tries to claim he uses the van for his little brother's carpool. The tow lot guy wants to know where all the kids fit among the weed. His coworker is already enjoying Silas' product. They're impressed. Four ounces should clear things up.
Back at the house, Len packs to fly to Paris to bet on poker via satellite with Nancy's money. Shane tells him he can't keep his mom's money. But Len expects monthly deposits to his account BotwinBig. (Get it?)
Shane asks when Len is coming back: When not-Francie misses a payment. Shane calls his grandfather an a-hole. Len says his mom dying was the best thing that ever happened to him. He leaves.
Andy sits in the desert, calling Nancy's phone repeatedly. But it's off. A line of immigrants walks by. Andy asks where they're heading and follows them.
Nancy drops off Guillermo's product. He pays her and gives her some keys and sets up a meet for later that day.
Guillermo's guys bust in the door, dragging someone. They hold a gun to her head, saying they caught her outside taking pictures. It's Celia.
