There is much that is peculiarly Egyptian
deickemeyer8 November 2017
There is a note of freshness. in these scenes and, above all. there is, or seems to be, much that is peculiarly Egyptian, such as the return of the pilgrims from Mecca. Narrow streets, gates, walls, graveyards and palm trees can be found in many places. The photographs are not so clear as some that we have looked at. - The Moving Picture World, September 13, 1913
