Incredible end to the BEST season ever
Splarke2214 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Survivor: Winners At War was simply iconic. Comprised of 20 of the best winners to ever play the game, whoever came out victorious would likely be looked at as one of the best to ever play. That being said, if Natalie had won the game after being voted out on Day 2, the season would've been completely ruined. Tony winning just FEELS right & IS right. He played hands down the best game of Survivor ever & was awarded for doing so. ZERO votes cast against him when he came in as such a big threat is just absurd & a true testament to his phenomenal social game. Tony & his Spy Nest ended up being not only great television, but a major factor in him winning the game; it just shows that Tony was out there playing chess while everyone else played checkers. Tony also winning four immunity challenges & the one to guarantee him Final 4, was simply incredible. This is a guy who looked like a lost puppy in individual immunity challenges back in Cagayan, so to see him dominate & nearly tie the record for most individual immunity wins in a season was remarkable. Tony played a phenomenal under the radar game pre merge & then DOMINATED post merge in a way that's rarely (or maybe even never) been seen on Survivor. As for Michele, I think she played a great game & did NOT deserve zero votes in the end. She was on the outs against the winner's (Tony's) alliance the whole time but still had a fantastic social game. Michele also had two clutch individual immunity wins when she was on the brink of being voted out. I think Michele cemented herself as a modern day Survivor legend with her performance this season, despite receiving no votes at FTC. In the end, I'm just so happy that Tony pulled it off. I think Tony Vlachos not only became the King of Survivor with his Winners At War victory, but also the undoubtable GOAT player!

Best finale in a long time.

Warning: Spoilers
Let's see...

First, instead of a reunion, we got clips that really showed how much the game meant to everyone. And it's a real tear jerker. Also everyone's final speeches after the EoE challenge too.

Natalie returns and no one believes she has an idol except Tony. Michele wins immunity after being so far behind. Natalie plays idol, so Ben and Tony do too. Denise goes home. But not before Sarah gives one of the most heartfelt speeches about women in Survivor.

Tony wins immunity but, Natalie find another idol. Sarah, Tony, and Ben are in some deep **** and they know it. So Ben (knowing where he stands) gives and gives Sarah permission to vote him out, which is one of the saddest things I've seen in Survivor.

Natalie wins final immunity, takes Michele, so Cops R Us are forced to make fire. And it was probably the closest fire making challenge they've ever had. It really seemed like Sarah was gonna win it...but Tony came out on top.

FTC was good. It seemed like it was gonna be close, and for the first time it seems like, all 3 finalists really deserved and all had very different game plays. And no one was bitter, which

Tony wins, and the fact that someone like Tony wins twice, makes him the undisputed GOAT.

My only complaint is that I personally believe Michele should have been runner-up over Natalie or at least got some votes. But other than that, great season.

This review is for all of Winners at War

Absolutely the best survivor season of all time! Winners at War has lived up to and even exceeded its enormous expectations. Season 40 has fantastic strategy (probably the absolute best) and definitely the top of the chain with paranoia, which was a big enjoyment for all tribal councils. Obviously it has amazing characters with all the winners, however if you haven't watched any previous survivor seasons you may not care about the contestants as much. Amazing challenges with epic come backs, clutch finishes, and some blowouts. Along with amazing drama and comedy. I know the one thing that held people back from entirely loving this season was the excessive amount of twist, including Fire tokens. But personally that is something that I love about survivor, so it didn't have any drawbacks for me. Also a thrilling tribal when the last jury member is voted out. Also I noticed Tony never swore on his family members. This might be the best season of any TV show I've ever watched! But is definitely although not by too far (because Second Chance comes close) the best season of all of survivor!
