3.3? Are you kidding me? In my humble opinion, this Equestria Girls special is pretty great. Actually, this is an anthology of several (six, to be precise) mini-episodes, unlike the other EG specials. I love them all, especially the second one. Pretty hilarious and cute with a bunch of references.

Are you kidding me, Hasbro? THIS is how you decided to end the Equestria Girls franchise? what am i even saying? this ain't a finale. it's just a bunch of unrelated shorts strung together in the form of a TV special, and none of these shorts have any kinda closure at all.

now, i'm not saying this was bad or anything. it's definitely not the worst thing to come outta EqG (Spring Breakdown holds that title), but for what we got... it feels pointless. it doesn't have any semblance of a plot - 'cause again, it's made out of 6 random holiday-themed shorts that have nothing to do with one another - most of the comedy is pretty weak and calling this the "finale" of Equestria Girls is... honestly, kind of insulting.

outta the 6 shorts we got in this special, i only enjoyed 2 of them: the one with the snowball fight (which also happens to be the funniest one), and the one with the girls planning heists. the other shorts range are either bland, generic or just down-right boring.

i really hope Hasbro changes their minds somewhere down the road and gives EqG the real ending it deserves, 'cause it legitimately can't end like this. the franchise needs to - AT LEAST - have SOME kinda actual closure. but until that day comes (mind you, if it ever does), we're stuck with this thing. i'm giving it a 4/10 because of the two shorts i really enjoyed, but other than that, there's really no reason to come back to this special again.
