Not since Breaking Bad have I hoped characters who experience car wrecks or life threatening medical issues would actually die. At least when Tara survived she left Whyhope. The show still seems to veer wildly from one unbelievable plot line to another, with the hospital sequences still being the only saving grace. (although it would be nice to showcase some of the other workers -- do Ken, Betty and the doctors do everything themselves?) Most annoying part of this episode (and it was hard choosing between things) was that tired old trope of a driver taking their eyes off the road -- in this case to talk on the 'phone -- and crashing. But in this case I was not hoping the driver died; for a change.
