The story of thallumpidi revolves around three college going friends who lands in trouble when a simple issue which could have been reconciled in a peaceful manner ends up in fights, complication, and loss of life. Set in the backdrop of a village in Kerala. The movie discuss a strong socially relevant theme alongside a strong mother -son relationship, romance and friendship through a set of familiar characters

The story deals with the life of three friends., Their bond was very deep, they happened to seperate due to an unexpected incident, later on they met each other and begins their college life together followed by a series of dramatic events.
