Boring
getdangledon1 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This whole season was boring the first season at least kept me interested but this wasn't that the whole plant infection thing was just weird and bad writing and once again the crooked man just escapes and you give pat crazy superpowers only to never see him use them. You know next season will end with a fight against pat and the crooked man. Repetitive and boring.

Season 2 wasn't up to it.

Warning: Spoilers
In season 1, the story unfolded nice. You discover the adventures together with the characters. I was moved by the relationship between Dion and his mom. I liked the innocent kid storyline with his school buddy's. But when the villain came onscreen, the tension was really there while all the emotions build up to an epic end boss fight.

Season two has a nice opening to with new characters and a boy with awesome mindbending skills, could be scary! But now the innocent kid storyline is supposed to be serious??? They could defeat anything? It's just not possible! But I guess, no villain can withstand a fire extinguisher? And when everything falls into place, a new amazing powerful hero emerges, Janelle can control all matter, even to transform herself! But the fight is decided by kickboxing mom and a lame tornado as the best that Dion could do. And everyone gets forced to the ground by vegan people, who tickle them so they stay down! Yeah, in bionas lab they researched on one of these vegan people, they were completely plant, inside an out. But as soon as a needle made the veganplant explode like it was TNT, the green skill just fell off and well wauw look at that, in a second everyone is human again. Hurray! Let's not worry about the frekking lightning ghost who just floated away... Just as the strong mother from season 1, she now looks almost indifferent about here fate. Come on! Everyone would be crying half the time, but she? No she eats cuz hungry, and no cry cuz I'm here now okay?

I'll be waiting for season 3 though because the new villain has good potential. Hopefully they'll get the story right next time...

[7.1] Oh, he's so afraid!

Warning: Spoilers
Episode 8: An averagely nice finale good for children up to early teens. Everything was averagely good, not so on par with the previous episodes, finished hurriedly, too much illogical and unrealistic things happening as for a good PG rating. The songs and singing were very good. The highlight of the episode.

As for the cliffhanger, that makes no sense unless you're suddenly in an alternate universe.

Finale fight scene was weak/silly :-(

Like they ran out of time or budget. And/or the writers/director/show runner/choreographer was absent. Or they were trying to keep it G-rated.

And the ending with Pat was disappointing too. Making his whole appearance kind of meaningless.

I guess they lost the budget on this season.
garabedian12327 April 2022
So this whole season 2 while not bad was no where near as good as the 1st season..Its mostly because of Pats Voldermort split personality...Yeah that makes no sense. What were they thinking? Now if it was an alien living in the metorite or something that would have been different. But pats split personality...also he is magically healed with no dying issues....for some reason...even after taking in the crooked man back in.

Its the regular people that make no sense. Wait you want to market superpowers...get the heck out of here we dont want your kind here.... Like really? Really? We dont want to market superpowers? Yes we do!!...and its a coporation saying this...super lame.

The end is super weak. This medication only slows down the infection in my body..I am still going to die.... Until the end when that medication becomes the magical cure all that instantly cures not only the mom but the whole town...oh but the crooked man is still alive? Its like we just make up things. Nothing makes any real sense..

And yet overall this season was pretty entertaining. Or maybe it was just runoff from season 1 which was really good.

Esperanza!
rodrigofernandes-254217 February 2022
I give the show a 10 because of Esperanza. Every time she shows up, the shot comes alive. I wish she had more screen time.

More triangle of justice and less mum stuff next time.

Poor writing, no tension!

Warning: Spoilers
Once I heard that season two was released I knew I had to watch it. I was excited to begin with and started the season refreshed. However the episodes just dragged on and I slowly lost interest.

The whole plant flower infection thing was stupid. The company researching powered people were portrayed as idiots. Even tho they were monitoring these sinks holes CCTV cameras were non existent. With all the money that the board members complained about putting into the company where has it gone?

Somehow the sister becomes the "know it all" health professional who can only help save her sister.

The final battle between Dion, powered people and "The Monsters" was stupid and had no action that kept me enticed. The lightning man and mind control kid was well... take a guess.

Show needs to be moved to the "Kids Section" of Netflix.

Positives: Actors who played their role well besides terrible writing: Ja'Siah Young, Alisha Wainwright, Rome Flynn, Jazmyn Simon, Sammi Haney.

First off! Kwame you better siiinnnnggg!!! And Esperanza you too!! Soooo cute!!!! Love the triangle of justice!! So young, yet really grasping what it means to be there for each other! All in all! I enjoyed the series! I had no intention of finishing it all tonight! But here it is 5:30am on the day it came out and I'm done! Before each episode I would say ok last one, but then after the episode, I couldn't just stop there! Lol long story short! Loved season 2!

Disappointing ending
ljnisbett24 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I was really hoping that after Pat got the super powers he'd show up to help, but instead he decides he's going to go back to being evil just because of 2 people he hardly cares for. What a joke.

Poor season and bad ending
chunkylefunga25 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Writers have clearly run out of ideas.

They're just rehashing everything from season 1. In a world where superpowers exist, how hard can it be to write good super villains.

That whiney kid being the villain just because the crooked man told him to be but don't worry a few other kind words and he's fine? Just have villains be villains.

Pat shouldn't have become the villain for a season 3 setup. That's just a complete repeat of season 1. Not to mention him being a villain again, willingly, just doesn't make any sense.

The Dion kid actor is just terrible, he needs to be replaced for season 3 as it's just like watching a plank of wood act. It's hard to take a show seriously when the lead is terrible.

To be honest this show needs to replace it's writers if season 3 is going to work.

Setting Up For Season 3
j_hilyard2 February 2022
The series finale set up what could be an amazing season 3. If there is no season 3, then I'd give it 2 stars for an extremely unsatisfying end and for some questionable botany.
