As this episode begins, Paul is seen entering the office. His wife Kate has been waiting for him. Kate is in a strange mood, not quite herself. The reason she has come to talk to her husband is to tell him she has decided not to go back to see Gina on their next appointment. At the same time, Kate feels the therapist is helping Paul.

Jake arrives to see Paul Weston. Amy is absent without any explanation. Jake begins telling the doctor how much he is going to miss his son because of the probable divorce because Amy is adamant in going on with the break. Jake feels he wants to be closer to his son, something that might not be the case if he leaves his home.

Paul is given a glimpse at another problem Jake is hiding. When he talks about his own father, a picture emerges of a son that did not have a good relationship with his parents. Both of them were intellectually brilliant in their own right. This comes about when Jake volunteers he is good at solving crossword puzzles.

Even though Jake appears to be an ordinary man, his tastes in some poets indicate otherwise. He might be feeling he never developed his own potential, coming from such an academic background. Paul is surprised when he learns about the trip Jake took without any explanation to his parents' home in Virginia. There are indications that part of Jake's problems are deeply rooted in his own childhood.

Paris Barclay, directing the screenplay written by Merritt Johnson, gets amazing performances from Gabriel Byrne and Josh Charles, who keeps getting better and better all the time. There is a brief appearance by Michelle Forbes. The series keep its quality and integrity because of the people involved in it. Of course, none of this would have been possible if the original Israeli creators would not have had the vision of entrusting the material to the American team to give it life.
