The worst TV show ever : synthesis to «barlowralph » review (dvd)
leplatypus18 June 2016
When i tried to watch this show 3 years ago, i found it so bad that after 6 episodes, i watched directly the final and reviewed it. Another IMDb user rebutted my analysis so here a synthesis after having watched all the first season :

I feel punished ! This show is so painful to watch, so excruciating that it's really hard to put the DVD ! At last, i can push « forward » on my remote and reduce 46 minutes of torture into a mere quarter !!!

Honestly, for me, there is nothing good here : I never have the feeling to be in Oklahoma (except with episode 7 "Yeehaw, Geepaw"), the criminal cases are boring, there's no original directing, inspired score or talented cast ! The paranormal or Christian spirituality is more than clumsy managed : I agree with my opponent that God speaks in mysterious ways but here No ! If i wrote for the final of season 1, it's only because it's the only episode that proposes a decent script with that redemption idea ! But none of the previous 12 episodes managed to catch my interest, the same way other shows that mix police and paranormal like « twin peaks », « x-files » have done: sure Holly does a good job with this loose character but i don't find any ounce of quality to add: there's no transcending mysteries, no dramatic tension but a big huge and stupid gap between the violent and evil world Holly dealt in the cases and her hollow chit-chat with the angel! At the end, even Donald Duck better's self has more original ideas for redemption than this show !

So i believe that i must learn my lesson to buy an entire show without watching a single episode before and that i must be strong to deal with the future 33 episodes left!! Horrible !! Save me !!
