A half hour of comedy brilliance with 2 of the best things on SCTV-The Sammy Maudlin Show and a movie parody.

Sammy and William B. start the show giving each other compliments. Edith Prickley comes out and talks about her new production, a remake of the classic On The Waterfront. Bobby Bittman and Lola Heatherton play the Marlon Brando and Eva Marie Saint parts. Bobby shows a clip of he and Lola when they find Bobby's brother dead on a stevedore hook. They try to insert a little levity into the dramatic scene by making a few jokes and laughing at them. Lola comes on the show though Bobby would rather talk about himself as a "serious ac-tor". Another clip is shown, the famous taxi cab scene between Brando and Rod Steiger, here the Steiger role is played by Lin Ye Tang. Lin comes on the show they all talk about having a Chinese guy play Bobby's brother, but Bobby makes an impassioned statement about great acting and not race, creed or color. In between this are 3 very funny commercials, Dave Thomas talks about a service that provides removal of dead pets. Johnny LaRue talks about his new toy, a sponge. He got many complaints his last toys were too dangerous so now he just make a sponge for wimps. The last one is for a School For Speed Eating, which shows some fast motion of people wolfing down their meals. LaRue shows up again to display some speed booze drinking.

The final scene shows The Sammy Maudlin Show logo while the band plays and the credits roll.
