Sends chills through you.

It had to be Sting to get this rating. Arguably one of the best 10 writers of melodies ever, and NOT arguably, simply; the greatest lyricist of all time, any genre. Just his lyrics in the songs contained therein "The Dream of the Blue Turtles", (the album being created in this movie); have so much depth & meaning. (This carried on certainly on his songs/albums that followed.). This is not to say his lyrics were substandard when he was with 'The Police', because they weren't. But as a solo artist, he's off the hook he's so creative and thoughtful.

The guitarist in our band some 35 years ago said "It sends chills through me it's so good". So obviously, we are biased being musicians ourselves.

Flash forward 30+ years. My wife and I are on vacation at the beach. Evie doesn't care for music video movies much in general. I throw in "Bring on the Night" into the DVD player. Turned out to be a fantastic experience for her. Knocked her over. I was so pleased.

The players around Sting are all African American, plucked from various bands and such. And Oh! How they rock, and meld with Sting's music. Hence, the cultural mix didn't only mean color, but nationality as well. They had great mutual respect, high energy, a boatload of fun; and this translates in the fabulous effort turned out by all.

Ok, enough said. Rock videos/ quasi-documentaries kind of get stale less than 1/4 the way through. At least for me. I'd say most based on sales as well. Not so with this one. Sting now has at least two others out from later efforts, but they do not compare to "Bring On The Night".

Okay, enough said. You be the judge; Thx
