Finally ....
Corleone_19853 September 2008
I'm very Impressed with this show .. not because of how good .. no .. because McG is involved and I liked it .. (I had to say that given this is my only review on this show).

However, I said Finally because "John Casey" is one of my fav. character in this show and finally this gave him a story and inserted him in the show properly ... looking how this show's characters progressed I was hoping for an episode like this one ..

Looking forward for the new season and I hope it's as good as this one or even better ..

P.S. NICE REFERENCE TO CASABLANCA ..

Chuck Verses the Undercover Lover is another hilarious episode of "Chuck"
tavm28 January 2008
Warning: Spoilers
With the holidays now behind us, what a treat to get not one but two new episodes of "Chuck"! In the first new episode shown last Thursday, we begin in 2004 in a Russian city as we see Casey in bed with Ilsa (Ivana Milicevic), a photojournalist from that country. He begs her to stay but she goes though she accepts his gift necklace. A few seconds after she leaves, the building next door blows up. As Casey finds her remaining camera in the ruins, we now see him in present day looking at another camera in his Buy More uniform as he's about to punch a complaining customer. Good thing Chuck's nearby. After redirecting the angry patron, his Nerd Herd co-worker is on a computer illegally checking Tara Reid's phone number at a hotel. As Chuck begins to delete all that info, he sees several names that triggers his Intel brain. One of them is Ilsa. Casey doesn't take Chuck's telling him well as he physically threatens him. Sarah tells Chuck Ilsa is dead and that girl is probably an impostor. We find out otherwise as they all check undercover at the hotel and Ilsa is going to marry the Russian crime boss! Actually, Chuck checks in her room files and thinks she's a villain just as Casey and Ilsa get intimate again with Chuck hiding under the bed before being found out...There's lots more that I haven't told you including stuff about Ellie, Devon (Capt. Awesome), and Morgan but suffice it to say, this was another adventurously funny and cool episode! I especially loved seeing Casablanca segments that featured that other Ilsa-Ingrid Bergman-as Casey and Ilsa are talking and hearing Neil Diamond's "Love on the Rocks" as Casey is later drowning his sorrows and also attempting his rescue of his love. And that fight with Chuck and Casey tied up in a chair was too hilarious for words! So on that note, welcome back "Chuck" and hope the next episode is just as entertaining!
