A few unexpected and uncomfortable conversations take place that changes their outlook towards life forever.
- Jeet Khurana, a young documentary filmmaker from Mumbai, who is passionate about telling real stories and shooting at places like red light areas & prisons. His paths cross with Mrs. Deshpande when he arrives at a quaint house in a small town in Maharashtra belonging to her, a school teacher in Palghar. Mrs. Deshpande is a single mother who has lost her son, Milind Deshpande, to suicide. Milind, a freshman in medical college was subject to severe ragging by his seniors. Jeet arrives at Mrs. Deshpande's house where he poses to be Milind's school friend. He is invited to lunch by Mrs. Deshpande and her niece, Tullika. Jeet gets comfortable in their presence and tells them about his younger brother Tarun, who also committed suicide under similar conditions like Milind. Mrs. Deshpande too finds comfort and solidarity in Jeet. Jeet begins to question his conscience as he has gained Mrs. Deshapande's trust. He tells them the real reason of his arrival. He gives them the footage of a documentary he had shot of an inmate, Nishant Pandey, who is responsible for Milind's suicide. Jeet tells them that Nishant was still deep in his guilt and had attempted suicide. Mrs. Deshpande and Tullika, enraged by this action ask him to leave. Upon much contemplation, Mrs. Deshpande watches the documentary. On watching the documentary, Mrs. Deshpande realizes that the story of Tarun, Nishant and Milind are the same and she decides to start a suicide helpline to help children with depression talk about their feelings, to help them communicate, to help share their "Baatein".
