I know this series is getting a lot of hype and good reviews but it was just okay to me. It's a quick watch so I would still recommend it. I just think the "woke" trope was on another level and the LGBTQ agenda was in full force. I like Megan Good but she seemed to be over acting at times. I like Jamieson better than Ian but that's just me. Angela was a bit of a stereotype that gets old.

I was hooked midway through the first episode. Binged watch the season in a day. It's empowering without being all in your face. If Sex in The City met Harlem perfection! I can't wait for a season two. If someone doesn't like it, they lack sense a sense of humor, an open mind, and perception of life and fantasies. Also, the music was spot on!
