Following her testimony, Harriet wants a word with Seneca. Jack fumbles around as Martha makes veiled comments about his reputation for honesty then leaves. A suspicious Mary asks Jack to tell her what just happened with Martha. Harriet and Seneca apologize to one another. Dr. Hagen helps Seneca's case immensely by testifying that in his opinion Nell was already dead long before Seneca turned off her life support. Mary and Jack fight and then make up, but an angry Martha calls to tell Jack what a jerk he is for deceiving her and Mary, who deserves better.
