- The film features a few intense horror scenes but most are played for laughs.
- People die some bloody deaths. But the scary stuff is done well and not bad. There are no cruel scenes of torture like in the Saw or Hostel movies.

- A park ranger is shot in the neck with an arrow.
- The masked killer is stabbed in the foot with a kitchen knife.
- A woman's body is dumped in a well.
- The man is shot with an arrow and is kicked into a well.
- One of the masked killer gets his head bashed with a candlestick after getting beat up and shot. The bashing is mostly offscreen, but you can see blood splatter and blood on the candlestick.
- After a brief physical fight, a man is stabbed repeatedly in the stomach by a woman with knives in between her fingers. He is killed and the aftermath is briefly shown.

- A person is given the party drug mdma (ecstasy, molly) without asking for their permission first. They are fine with it and already had intended to that weekend. But consent was not explicitly requested and the receiver was briefly surprised and annoyed.
