Yes, some of the people think they are "all that", and they have issues just like the rest of us. It was refreshing to see them getting help outside the box of doctors, pills and hours of sitting in a room spilling your soul to a therapist. I think they are brave to air their souls in front of strangers, much less on national tv. I think the people who didn't like it, saw way too much of themselves in the participants and don't want to face their own reality. From a natural healers point of view, I didn't agree with all the modalities used. Then again I was not there, I didn't see behind the scenes, nor do I know the participants off screen selves. The show did give us pretty good, in depth detail of their lives in the small amount of time. They weren't forced to do anything (which is part of natural healing) but they were encouraged to participate and work through the uncomfortableness of it all. After all, that's how we heal. It was nice to see how different healing techniques could work in a world that wants us to be cookie cutter humans. Again, I didn't agree with them all but it was nice to see the results. I think it's a nice show and if done right, could go many seasons. Sorry, I forgot to mention all the eye candy throughout. ๐
