Lea needs to go
tert7217 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Once again Lea is clueless!!! For 3 seasons she treated Shaun as normal, outright ignored his autism, even when it was clear he was having issues.... And she showed her true self as now all the sudden that's the deal breaker with going out with Shaun???? Major hypocritical flake.

I personally liked the episode, just not Lea. Was very nice not having her in a few episodes this season.

@ChristinaChang- The scene with the young actor, after telling him he is not a donner match....the last few mints of that scene is a masterpiece.. she deserves the oscar for the way she expressed all the feeling with her eyes.

LEA IS ANNOYING
cupcakes-8923822 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Right after Shaun finally found someone who accepts him the way he is and is actually committed (By this I mean Carly) , Lea jumps in , confuses him , separates them and now she is rejecting him. She should've stayed away from him when she saw them happy together instead of ruining their relationship. She's just too selfish and annoying UGH.

S3.E17 - Lea Lea Lea [9/10]
panagiotis199315 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
(S3. E17) My Live Reaction / Review for The Good Doctor Season 3 Episode 17 ''Fixation''. The previous episode was good and I gave it a rating of 9/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. A patient that doctors cant find what type of illness she has? That's interesting. So this woman prefers to have a surgery that will probably kill her than live with the symptoms that she already has? Doesnt sound like a smart choice. Dr. Park's son has panic attacks? Anxiety disorder sucks. Im glad Shaun found a way to fix this woman's health issue. This young man is willing to lose his kidney to save his mentor? That's amazing. With each episode I hate Lea more, she is an awful person. She uses Shaun's autism against him? Overall this episode was good and I enjoyed it. My rating is 9/10.

When you love someone...

Shawn finds a new procedure for his patient. All the while trying to come up with a plan to change Lea's heart.

First episode I turned off before the end.

Warning: Spoilers
I stopped caring about the outcome right after Max was denied giving up his kidney.

The story about the kids vaping THC was pointless. Park's son has asthma. Okay? As another reviewer mentioned, you can't die from THC, or any of the other 160+ strands marijuana is composed of. The most dangerous thing about pot is what happens if you're caught with it, as ironically portrayed here. Thankfully that story morphed into focusing on Park being an absentee father.

The weathered story of Lea and Shaun just feels forced at this point.

When three doctors all agree a matched donor should be able to help out, and then Lim just swoops in and says no, it's an insult to consultation. Doctors should rely on medicine and being objective. It was Max's choice. Legally he's his own person, so I thought the added "drama" of Lim's decision was a bad choice. "This is not a democracy." Okay so next time don't bother having a meeting to consult with colleagues if one outweighs three, for no medically-related reason.

Poorly written
corizzo-15 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was poorly written and poorly directed. Love Ever Carradine, but she deserves a better cameo. The main characters behaved against established type and what was with the pimple popping? It was too many weird 'let's see if this works' for it to be effective. I love this show for its strong, complex storylines, but this failed.

Great series TERRIBLY written episode

Warning: Spoilers
Vitamin E acetate in street cartridges that were compromised are all that is dangerous. No one has ever been hurt from vaping THC unless it was tainted. Was this sponsored by Korean Tobacco?

How Transplants Don't Work
madavis-8153730 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Everything about the transplant process depicted in this show is wrong. It takes months to get on the list, If your heart is too weak for dialysis you are not getting on the list. It took my donor five months to be cleared. The most disturbing aspect of the show was how overblown they portrayed the donor's risk.

Medical shows like this does a disservice to those who are struggling with chronic kidney disease by making it appear that getting a transplant is easy when in real life it is a struggle to find a donor; that's why in the US alone over 100,000 people are waiting for a kidney transplant.

It seems like everybody hates Lea
ilonaorange14 April 2023
But I think she's more real. Other people who are not clueless knew that Lea treats Shaun as her "pet project", and her behavior is always consistent. She is exactly that kind of person in real world who could be very kind to people with deficiencies, but never treats them as an equal.

On the other hand, Claire is the worst kind of character ever, but everybody loves her? WTH? Why do people like phonies like her? She's super self-righteous; she always insists that every opinion that contradicts hers would be wrong; she acts like a saint but she's actually the most selfish person in the show! She only does nice things to others because that makes her feel good about herself! The blond girl is so much better a character than her! At least she's honest and not a hypocrite!
