Although I consider this a 50-50 remake of the original because it is so different than the original, but I am so over the yakuza. They got rid of Chin and Kono who I greatly enjoyed and it was wrong how it was done. But I still watch the show because I like some of the new characters, but the whole yakuza story is simply been beaten into the ground and needs to be put to bed.
As for the rest of the ep, too many storylines I think for an hour ep, but they were pretty good.
If they have to drop Adam to get rid of the Yak, then so be it because his character is too connected with Kono anyway.
(Edit/Addition: After writing this last night I read today that HF0 will be ending the series in April. Although I still am so tired of the Yakuza story, I also read a little about them and found out that they apparently have a decent presence in Hawaii. So if I combine the series ending and the fact based Yakuza in Hawaii (which they use as a bridge to a few cities in the US), I can be a little more forgiving, but regardless they have been a major story since the beginning with significant impact, and I'm just tired of their having such a dominant role in the story. But if this ep's purpose was to set up some type of closure, then I'll give it a pass.)
