Sex & Nudity

  • Lindsay was one time wrapped in bath cloths alongside Beth and Owen in which she peaks down the revealing top of her towel to leer at either her ample breasts or nipple slips.
  • In the second season, Action, there is little nudity. However, there are lots of sappy make out sections, but not as much as the first season for sure.
  • Sierra takes off her belt and her pants, revealing her underwear (Episode 307).
  • None In World Tour, besides some kissing and one glimpse of a girl's underwear.
  • Season 4 has slightly more than Season 3. Jo makes a reference about working out like the Olympians but nude. We see her shadow as she does jumping jacks, and a chipmunk sees this and it pukes. Nothing bad. However, Jo makes a reference to a pubic hair that a younger kid won't understand.
  • All Stars has nothing except for some kissing.
  • In multiple episodes, censored male nudity is shown onscreen and in one episode, a female character in a competition accidentally flashes a male character topless, but it is censored. However, censored nudity is played for laughs.
  • Characters often use slang for testicles.
  • People can be shown cheating on their partners as well (like Duncan for example). There is one obsessive female stalker in the show who talks about her crush and is shown to creep him out. There are revealing outfits throughout the show, but they are all meant for laughs. Suggestive dialogue, Innuendo and adult humor can be included as well. Couples can be seen kissing. Male and female frontal nudity are occasionally shown and censored.
  • Bridget and Geoff often make out in many episodes. For example, they do so as the lights turn off and they make purring noises in the dark, but the noises were removed in the US version.
  • In an episode, Tyler and Lindsey are shown making out in the communal bathrooms, the walkie talkie rings and they fall on top of eachother.
  • Harold says that Leshawna is "sexy".

Violence & Gore

  • Some challenges may be violent. In the start of the show, it even has a parental guidance warning.
  • In a certain episode Chris falls and lands on a stage light and alot of blood is seen, although a couple seconds later Chris says its fake
  • Heather does a throat slitting gesture in one episode.
  • There are a lot of fights that can include some violence. People can be shown getting injured as well, which is why the shows pushed the TV-PG rating. There is a lot of comic mischief as well, but it's what you would expect in a Teletoon cartoon. Bullying is shown throughout the television, and one character suffers from it mentally. The elements of backstabbing are also included.

Profanity

  • Ad-lib dialogues mostly on TDPI that may confuse some. She occasionally uses the word "ain't" hatefully, especially when it comes to bullying Ella or being competitive. Her head movement being shown twice in the confessional can be seen as a gesture to racial stereotyping.
  • On TDPI, Chris occasionally stereotypes an Australian contestant with "outback" jokes, such as "Put some Dave on da barbie!" & "From down undah the tree."
  • In one episode, the Spanish word "cojones" (meaning "balls") is said.
  • Stronger language is used but it is bleeped out.
  • In one episode, a character says "s**t" but it is censored.
  • 1 use of "hell".
  • There's some mild language throughout the show, but nothing too bad. Words like "stupid", "suck", "crap", "freaking", & "screw" are occasionally used.
  • "Damn" was used in Season 2 Episode 15.
  • Courtney refers to being a C.I.T "I was a C.I.T" and Heather replies by saying she is "More like a B-I-T-C-". She is however cut off by Gwen.
  • In a couple of episodes, characters are shown sticking out the middle fingers at each other but censored.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • In Season 2 Episode 20, Chris McLean briefly smokes a pipe.
  • In the Boys-vs-Girls challenge in TDI, Trent gets drugged by a flashback that caught up to him from his past and he ends up sucking his thumb.
  • In an episode of TDWT, there are bottles like champagne in Paris.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Dave is implied to have borderline personally disorder, as many sequences involving his unstableness might be unsettling to some audiences.
  • Mike's malevolent personality, Mal, may be a bit scary for some viewers...
  • Mike's background personality story is unsettling to hear including how Mike is just a nice guy who turns out to have Mutiple Personality Disorder (MPD) is a real thing that affects people including serial killers.
  • Some of the challenges sometimes puts the contestants in danger, getting seriously injured, and even dying.
  • Moderate in a lot of episodes.
  • Some of the challenges can be quite frightening for younger children. They show characters doing dangerous things, and peril is included throughout the show. A lot of the drop of shames and dock of shames are meant for laughs, but they can be dark as well.
  • In an episode of TDA, Trent goes a little overboard in his mental health when Duncan starts spending more time with Gwen. To get Gwen's attention from Duncan, Trent comes up with a nine obsession, even when Duncan reveals it to the audience.
