- The Legends destroy the Loom, but discover that the world left in the aftermath as the one they freed - and Charlie is determined to stop them. Meanwhile, the alternate-timeline Zari realizes the sacrifice she has to make if Behrad is to live in the new reality.—Gislef
- The Legends split up and look for the Loom, and Tari point out that they shouldn't destroy the Loom until they find Waverider. A group of workers come up and recognize Tari from TV, and ask her for an autograph. Constantine tells them to hand over their clothing.
Mona and Gary find one Legend team: Mick, Zari, Ava, and Nate. Gary and Mona recognize them TV, and Mona suggests that Waverider is in the Forbidden Dump where they dump forbidden historical items. Legends sneak into the dump in a garbage truck, and Mick uses the remote to click the door for the cloaked timeship.
The other team of Legends sneak into the Loom building and knock out the guards. In the main chamber room, a worker pleads with the three Fates for more blue mush. They agree to weave it into the fabric of Time that afternoon, and another worker asks for their TV shows back. Lachesis look at Charlie, who says the shows will be back in a bit. The workers wearing the Legends' discarded clothing are in line, and Atropos realizes that the real Legends must be nearby. Atropos goes over to find them, and when Charlie starts to leave, Lachesis grabs her arm and tells her that it's time to grow up and face the music. Charlie insists that the Legends are her friends, and Lachesis says that they have time and again spread chaos in the world. When Charlie points out that the Encores weren't the Legends' fault, Lachesis says that they're Charlie's fault and ambitious villains are the product of the chaos Charlie birthed. The Fate points out that there are no potential villains among the workers, and she asks what the mortals would want: more choices or a lifetime of peace. Charlie figures that they would want peace and goes back on her throne, and Lachesis congratulates her on her choice.
Sara and the others break into the Loom room. Sara can sense it despite her blindness, and tells Astra and Constantine to destroy it.
Sara calls the other Legends, who are continuing their search for Waverider in the dump. Mick finally finds the timeship buried beneath a pile of rubble, and the team go inside. Mick goes to find Lita while the others go inside.
Constantine warns that they need lots of magic to destroy the Loom. He figures that Astra her powers as a magical conduit from Natalie, and p4repare to focus his magic through her.
The Legends discover that the Fates have dismantled Gideon, and Zari says that they need a surge of power for the Time cord. Nate steels up and acts a conductor, and Ava flies Waverider into the air.
Behrad and his Zari go to the throne room and tell Sara that Atropos isn't there. Atropos grabs Sara, who has a future vision of Atropos killing her with one of her thrown bone daggers. She attacks the Fate, and Sara catches the bone dagger as Atropos throws it at her.
Constantine tells Astra to let Natalie's power flow through her. Astra does so, and Constantine has her harness her connection. The woman does so, remembering Natalie singing to her as a child, and the threads of the Loom enter her grasp. The loom starts to shut down.
Sara continues attacking Atropos.
Astra sees Lachesis in her vision, and Lachesis tells her that Natalie is gone. She says Astra has to forget Natalie, or she'll never be the powerful entity she was meant to be.
The Loom restores itself.
Atropos tells Sara that her power come from her, and pulls the power of the Loom from Sara. Sara says that her power comes from her and tells Constantine to open the door. he does so, and Behrad and Zari come in and air-blast Atropos into the Loom. Sara shoves Atropos into the Loom, pulling out her thread, and Atropos screams in pin.
Lachesis and Charlie sense Atropos death.
The Legends run out as Ava picks them up. She jumps the ship, and then it plummets out of the air into the dump as Ava jumps it. Sara can see and realizes that her powers are gone, and Constantine tells her that her powers came from Atropos and now she's dead, her powers are gone from Sara. The Legends go out and find that the world is back to normal, and a newspaper date shows that they jumped a few months into the future. They notice pedestrians checking their wristwatch Fates, and there are posters of Lachesis and Charlie around. Sara realizes that the two fates restored the Loom and made it portable.
Lachesis does an ad for the FateWatches saying that anyone can be linked to the Loom through them.
The Legends break into what was the temple of the Loom and find it is now a History Museum. There are brochures about the horrors of free choice, and they go to the Hall of Bad Ideas. Among the exhibits are Glitter and the Thong Song. They go to the Hall of Villains, why Behrad and Zar-1i try to bring Gideon back up. Behrad has a vision of men shooting him when he tries to help Zari-1 escape, and he wakes up and tells Zari-1 what he saw. Zari-1 says that in her timeline, Behrad died the way he saw. Since then, everything she's done has been to save him.
Nate In the Hall of Villains, there are exhibits of Vlad the Impaler, Stalin, and Marie Antoinette. They're ranked, and the number 1 villain isn't there.
Mick, Mona, Gary, and Lita drop into the ship, and Zari finds them. Mick is furious that the Legends left him behind. Lita calms him down, and Zari says that they should ask Zari-1 why they left him behind. Mona explains that when the Loom was broke, everyone's memories came flooding back. Gary and Mona found Lita and Mick,
The Legends find an exhibit of Villain#2: themselves, the godkillers. Charlie is imprisoned and ranked as Villain #1. She tells them that they have to get out, and checks her FateWatch. It says that she has to stay. Constantine knocks her out with a spell, and they take her to Waverider, Charlie tells them that they shouldn't have destroyed the Loom, and since she's the Loom Breaker and the creator of chaos, the Encores were rereleased. Ava figures that since they left, Lachesis was free to influence Charlie.
Sara assures Charlie that they're her family, and Charlie says that Lachesis rebuilt the Loom and restored the peace.
Astra goes to the study to drink, and Constantine approaches her. She admits that she summon her mother in Hell, and the price for Lachesis' protection was her humanity. Astra has to forget her mother to survive. Constantine points out that she was just a kid trying to survive, but Astra says that she wanted to forget. He tells her that she's still her daughter, and Astra asks if she's Natalie's daughter or Lachesis'.
On the bridge, Nate gives Charlie a demonstration of the benefits of freewill. Charlie isn't convinced despite ABBA and the Beetles, and Ava and Sara point out that the Legends came together because of chaos. She says that sometimes Destiny is just a mistake.
Zari-1 tries to hack Charlie's FateWatch and needs an independent Wi-Fi. She takes apart Zari's phone. They trace the Loom signal to a building, and Behrad notices the bullet wound in his chest appear. Zari and Constantine search another floor, and Zari grabs Constantine and kisses him. He kisses her back, and Zari-1 and Behrad hear them on the radio. Zari-1 finds a room with no walls or rooms and go there, and Constantine and Zari join them. Gideon is there, and they realize that there is no Loom and Lachesis is using Gideon. Ava suggests they shut down the system, and Charlie figures Lachesis was right and they want to cause panic by shutting down Gideon.
Astra comes in and says Lachesis will come up with another way. Ava figures that they need to take Lachesis down a notch, and Sara asks Charlie to help them because Lachesis is her sister. Charlie tells her that she can't help them and walks out.
The next morning at the History Museum, Lachesis gives a tour about how the world was filled with pain and hubris. She talks about how she rebuilt the Loom and imprisoned Charlie so that the people could live in peace. She brings a light up on the Loom Breaker and asks if she accepts her fate. The figure reveals that she's Astra and says that she doesn't accept her fate. Lachesis asks where Charlie is, and Astra asks if Lachesis ever loved her or was just looking for a replacement for Charlie.
When Lachesis tells Astra that she wanted a mother, Astra tells her that she had a mother who understood that to love someone, they had to set her free. When Astra invites Lachesis to smite her, Lachesis does nothing. She asks why the people should believe Astra, and Sara and the other Legends reveal that they've replace their dummies in the display. Sara says that Astra is telling the truth.
In the Loom Room, Zari-1 tries to get into Gideon's programming.
Lachesis points out that the Legends are some of history's most notorious criminals, and the tour group all chant "shame". Sara admits that they made mistakes but sometimes things get messed up for the better. Ava points out that Marie Antoinette's indifference led to a democratic revolution in France. Lachesis tells them to listen to the Loom. The people check their watches.
Zari pulls the plug on Gideon, shutting the AI down.
Lachesis says that they will have chaos, blows on her coins, and animates the exhibits of the villains which are actually the real Encores. The people panic and Lachesis walks off, as the dummies come at them. Sara figures that if they get out, they'll destroy the city. The Legends grab displays from the Hall of Bad Ideas and fight the dummies, as Nate turns on The Thong Song. The two sides fight but the Legends can't kill the Encores permanently without Hell weapons.
Lita finds Charlie to get over herself, and says that she was born of chaos. She eventually got her father, and life being messy is what makes it beautiful. Charlie takes Lita to the History Museum, gives them Hell Weapons, and they kill the Encores for good. Sara assures Charlie that she's wild and unpredictable, just like they like her, and Charlie goes with a Hell weapon to confront her sister once and for all.
Lachesis goes to the Loom Room and tells Gideon to reboot. Nothing happens, and Charlie comes in and says that she thought she needed Lachesis' forgiveness. She realized that Lachesis needs forgiveness and hugs her, then says that she forgives her. Lachesis tells Charlie that she gave her back her power and her immortality, and she was a god but now she's nothing. She sits down, in despair, and Charlie tells her that she's a human and only has one life to live. Charlie tells her not to waste that life trying to keep everything under control, and walks out.
The Legends return to Waverider, and Behrad finishes reactivating Gideon. Gideon figures that Zari is the captain, and Zari-1 comes in and Zari realizes that she had secret with Nate. Behrad says that Zari and Constantine had sex, then bleeds from the wound in his chest. Zari-1 realizes that because she's there, there are two timelines present and in one of them, Behrad died. She figures that she had to go back into the Totem to save her brother.
Nate and Zari-1 go to the study, and Zari-1 admits that she'll miss him. He hugs her and Zari-1 says that she has to do it, but just wishes she was leaving Nate with something. Nate says that she has by bringing back his memories of her, and now he gets to remember the woman he loves. They kiss, and they both agree that they have no regrets.
Zari-1 says goodbye to the other, saying they found her and brought her home. She hugs Behrad and looks at her counterpart, and then takes control of Behrad's totem and enters it.
Charlie takes the Legends to the bar and performs w2ith her punk band, the Smell. Lita tells Mick that the Smell is her favorite band, and Mick hugs her. Constantine asks Astra what she's going to next, and she says that she figured she would hang out at the House. She gives Constantine his soul coin to pay for the rent, and they share a toast.
Charlie finishes her set, as the Legends dance. They leave together and Sara figures that it's time to go home. Charlie says that it's time for her to stay put, and Sara tells her to look them up if she ever needs anything. The Legends share a group hug, and the Legends leave for their vacation. A beam of light shines down and unnoticed by the other Legends, lifts Sara up into the sky.
