I was surprised to hear that for her 80th birthday celebrations, that Queen Elizabeth II had chosen Rolf Harris to paint her portrait. This was a very good documentary going behind the scenes in the palace and Rolf's place, showing all his actions to painting the country's monarch. Rolf was obviously humorous and lovable as usual, and the Queen seemed like almost any other person, even with the posh accent and posing a lot, a very friendly woman. In the time it took Rolf to paint the portrait, he did at one point mess up the colour of the Queen's jumper, but he corrected this, and when it came to revealing it to the press, it was a success. A very interesting one-off documentary with a very friendly presenter and painter, and a very admirable woman. Oh, by the way, the next year The Queen set the new record as the oldest monarch (beating Queen Victoria). Very good!
