Loved every minute of it!

Warning: Spoilers
Okay, now this is my first time writing a review for anything so yes I'm a virgin. With that out of the way, OMG! this show just keeps getting better and better. Every storyline is interesting and shocking. I do kind of wish that they slowed down the shockers to every ep instead of every scene. Still, this is the best episode so far for this season. I mean come on, Maury Parkman was the one posing as Linderman the whole time? Did not see that coming. And probably the biggest shock of the entire ep was when Hiro killed Ando. I mean my mouth dropped and hung for about five minutes. Hiro was wondering how Ando could turn on him when he turns around and gives him an exact reason to. And to find out that Arthur Petrelli is still alive and is the one controlling everything(not to mention him paralyzing Angela in her dream and it happening in real life)and is putting together a team? Whoa! And what's up with Mohinder? Is he like the new Jeff Goldblume or something? Oh and the vortex guy was cool. Shame he had to suck himself into one of his own vortexes. He would've been really sweet as a villain. With all of that happening, this show never seems to disappoint. It's a shame that a lot of other people don't think so. But give it some time. If they haven't put something in there to catch your attention, I'm sure they will soon. All I can say is that I can't wait for the finale of this volume when everything comes full circle. Until then, keep doing what your doing Heroes. You still got a loyal fan out there.

Intense and Disturbing
LaFeeChartreuse12 November 2008
Warning: Spoilers
A lot of people seem to want to slag the current season of Heroes, but as far as I'm concerned, while it's not perfect, it certainly hasn't lost any of its ability to keep you on the edge of your seat. This whole season started off very intense and has only gotten more so, with this episode by far the hardest-hitting so far.

I don't want to include any spoilers here, but there are so many revelations and genuinely shocking and upsetting developments in this episode that it's hard to know what to say without giving anything away.

I will just say that some of the things other people seem to dislike about Heroes, and particularly the way it's evolved over season 2 and this one, are exactly the things I do like about it: incredibly complex plot lines full of weird twists and turns, and characters who can't be pinned down as simply good or evil. The latter is especially evident in this episode - while the previous episodes of this season were already escalating the sense of moral greyness that was already present, this episode takes it new heights, or depths, with several previously likable characters doing horrific things, as well as characters thought to be villains showing unexpected redeeming qualities.

This seems to be frustrating to people who expect that because of the series comic-book inspiration, it's going to follow a typically simplistic comic-book moral code where heroes and villains are clearly defined, with the good guys being always good and the bad guys always bad. But if anything the series has become the antithesis of that - in retrospect, Mohinder's anguished cry from last season of "I don't know who's right or wrong any more!" seems like foreshadowing - in this season, not only is it increasingly hard to know who's right and who's wrong, but it seems increasingly evident that there *is* no clearly defined right and wrong, and that the difference between a hero and villain is sometimes only a matter of perspective.

The people complaining that "But (character) wouldn't do (good/bad thing)!" are missing the point - the central idea here is that there's an angel and a monster inside of everyone. And that idea has rarely been as clearly and disturbingly shown anywhere as it has in this episode.

Absolutely brilliant.

Warning: Spoilers
I thought this episode was brilliant. I mean, totally gripping. It had me on the edge of my seat and I mean literally. Heroes is getting better and better and better. And to find out that Peter and Nathans dad is still alive is.. I have got to say it wasn't as good as the episode before this one but it's still absolutely brilliant. If you're a heroes fan and you thought this and the episode before was poor, then you must be crazy. In no way is this or the episode before poor. Can't wait for the next episode! I'm gonna be so excited to see what happens. and I hope that Ando is still alive! :(

I don't know how the producers are gonna top these episodes, i've mentioned. But I'm sure in some way they will.

Tim Kring is a genius. There is nothing more to it. I hope Heroes goes on for at least 4 more seasons, because if it doesn't, I'll be absolutely gutted and I'm sure so will many others!

WOW is all I can say what an episode!

Warning: Spoilers
WOW what an episode, this has to be the best series i have yet seen, yes i will agree it did lose a little steam in season 2 but it totally redeemed itself in my eyes this season, right from the get go, right from the beginning it started with a bang and if you look back to season one you will see that it always has packed so many surprises and punches into each and every episode. As to the previous reviewers comment about the series losing its way and all that they must never forget the deeper story building in the background, in heroes never forget its the little things that matter the things that you don't pay much attention to. Anyways I just wanted to say I am and always will be a loyal fan to the very end. Tim Kring is a genius and the series fits together perfectly and to all those who disagree I just wanna say we are all entitled to our opinions even if they are wrong. So in conclusion keep up the excellent work guys and I can wait for episode 6.

Hahaha

Heroes has gotten so bad it's not even so bad it's good anymore. The plot lines are a mess (Sylar being a Petrelli brother was dumb beyond imagination, rivaled only by the Star Wars syndrome of the X-Files in stupidity, everyone acting out of character -- Hiro, Suresh, Sylar), the character development is laughable (Claire getting all vigilante, Peter trying to kills his mother). There is no clear direction in the story either...they just keep adding characters. Now their idea was to have different characters every season...they should have either stuck to that or not added new characters. You can't have both and have a cohesive show. Honestly, the show-runner should fire the whole writing staff and reboot the damn thing next season if he wants to keep it alive for another year.
