I had the chance to see this documentary during the Rome Edge Festival in 2005 and it was a real surprise. The film is intense and moving. It was very interesting to see Ettore Garofolo after so many years (the star of Mamma Roma). Moreover to hear Pasolini's voice on a black screen made his presence very real. I was not expecting much but the film managed to grab my attention right away. There is an interesting balance between a certain melanconic touch and the aggressivity of some of the choices. I loved the fact that Pasolini's face and presence is delivered only at the end. Very interesting was also to hear the kids and students at the end. Their impressions of Pasolini are very diverse.
