Museum director Mielke is skull-smashed, apparently during the robbery of a priceless medieval bible. It was an heirloom donated by Silke Bundstein, while her husband wanted to sell it and never forgave her, suspecting an affair. Mielke is succeeded by deputy Dr. Clausen, who constantly criticized him, wanting his post. Art collector and dealer Oliver Boldt met Mielke who allegedly offered to sell him to bible to clean up the museum accounts, aspiring a director's post in a larger museum.
